Quarian crawling.........first step for quarian pounce and mating soon to follow.
To try and start an honest debate...
The bowed lower leg, strong legs, diminutive (in comparison) arms and light frame seems indicative of a creature with a tendence for leaping/pouncing and sprinting short distances to catch prey...
The books say quarians evolved along the same lines as Earth higher primates, however Rannoch is more arid and has a greater amount of desert coverage, than forest/jungle coverage. Tali mentions her ancestor spread the seeds of desert grass with their bodies (we knew about this since ME2, Rannoch lacking insect life, etc.).
Given these various things, the species quarians evolved from probably moved on all fours and had a posture that kept them lower than primitive apes on Earth did, as to move through the desert grass (thus collecting pollen) and remain low enough to stay hidden from their prey and be able to pounce on them from ambush (in a manner similar to a lion in a savanna).
We know most geth to be modeled after male quarians.
Here's something:

Notice the posture and the primate like quadrumanism.
I'm really starting to wonder if the species quarians evolved from was anything like the geth hoppers (excluding the flashlight head obviously), not exactly the same of course, such long legs would probably be unpractical from an evolutionary point of view for a creature hunting from ambush, but similar somewhat.
Oh well, food for thought anyway.
