I mean, Liara, who Bioware obviously wanted to make Sheperds real LI couldn't even stop some revenge to help Shep. I know she helped bring me back to life in someway, but she was just so cold in ME2.

Jack would've said very expletive words to most missions to be with Shepard, but even she showed the loyalty in the end, that they "needed her", so she couldn't leave to be with him. ME2 Jack would've done that, ME3-Jack developed into a kind of woman that stands out amongst the human possibilities. However, Tali has much less issues, despite her little fatherly troubles. Also, she has a basic cuteness that Jack totally lacks. And an innocent fascination for things that Jack also can't produce. I love them both, but Tali is...just more faceted. And thus more interesting in many ways. Plus she always was interested, makes it easier.

Yeah, Liara's distance made it really easy to go for Tali, especially since the Quarian cutie already appeared at the first groundside.

Darn, I have to go back to work as my break is almost off. Sad It's actually been a really good conversation going here and hate to leave. I always enjoy my time on here with all of you. Look forward to having some more in-depth Tali discussions later when I get off of work.

I was about to leave, but saw this and just had to comment Yeah, the distance thing made it SO easy, but you know what I didn't like lol. I made sure to get Tali and do her loyality mission before visiting Liara in Mass Effect 2. I had also locked Tali in as my romance option.

I never saw Liara, after I did all of this in previous playthroughs so I thought maybe it would change the dialog a little, especially if Tali was with me on the mission to first visit Liara. When I walked in and Liara kissed me with Tali right there in the room I thought, oh snap, a fight is about to happen, but nothing. I so wanted to see Shepherd pull away from Liara and say

No Liara, it wouldn't be right, Tali and me are together now

but nothing, oh well, I guess Bioware can't think of stuff for every scene. In my mind though, Tali would have straight told Liara to back off hahaha. Stay away from my Sheperd. Okay, I have got to run now, talk to all ya later.

Yes, always.
I don't want to miss anything she has to say to Shepard.
Apart from her I usually take Garrus or Javik along.

In ME1, she hardly misses a mission, but that's mostly because of the fridge with roller skates. When she's on foot, the lack of armor up to the Asteroid mission makes her a risky asset. In ME2, once I have her, I bring her along a lot as the short-range coverage to my long range. In ME3 she appears freakishly late, and thus we had to make the most of it...

I brought Javik and vega along for london part 1 becuae I was worried about mandatory deaths... after I found out that was unlikely I brought Garus and Tali along for the final part of london Great idea that was, though they did get out of the ship

Yep.  I always take my love interest with me.  It's a tradition that I've had since Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.  And since Wrex isn't in ME3, I always roll with Tali and Garrus whenever possible.  ME1 crew ftw!

Don't get me wrong the others are cool, but still, awesome LI and Batman in Space make the team all the time.

I just replayed me2 and there it was mostly Tali, Legion and then Garrus. I modded the game to get Legion relatively early.

It was empty, but for a different reason.  I...lost some good crew during the suicide mission.  May their souls rest in peace.
