I couldn't agree more. Everyone has there own opinion on what they like. I personally prefer the ps3, but have mass effect on pc. Its a nuisance, and a pain in my arse, hence why i'm seriously considering getting an xbox when i can afford it.

Yep. Ever since TIM's "go do Horizon now" and "go do the Collector Ship now, kthxbye" in ME2 I figured the game might force me into other missions, so I would postpone any story mission as long as I could and do all the available optional content first. That's how I got out of ME2 with everyone alive on my first playthrough (since I didn't do the IFF mission until I had done everything else, so all I had was Legion's mission and then straight through the Omega-4 relay), and it likely also saved Tali. Although if I had gotten to that point without having enough reputation to make peace, I would've sided with the quarians. I like Legion and I feel sorry for the geth, but Tali's my LI, she comes first.

The quarians would have taken absolute priority, as they were a organic race that could not be rebuilt easily, like the geth.  While Tali was a factor, and maybe a few other's I've meet, the quarians would have taken priority if I couldn't take both.

But even if they do screw up, they should at least side with the quarians. Not only for Tali's sake, but when it comes down to it, geth are always going to be robots. I'd prefer to save the flesh-and-blood people if I couldn't make peace (but I always do).

Okay, I'm still pretty new here, but I had an interesting idea for a discussion and topic. I'm sure it may have been done before, but I thought it could be fun. I don't know about all of you, but I love music and I love finding new music. So this could be a cool way to see whatever likes and maybe some of us would find some new music we enjoy. So here we go.

If our music existed in the Mass Effect Universe, what 4songs would be Tali's favorite songs. What would be in her Ipod? 

Now, here is the catch. You must list why these 4 songs are important to YOUR Tali. I say YOUR because everyone has a different version of Tali in their mind to a degree.

So list the three songs your Tali really enjoys, if possible enter the Artist name, Title of song and a youtube link if possible and then the reason Tali loves the song. Also, please, don't insult anyone song choices for Tali. lets keep it Tali friendly. Also, even if you can't watch the videos for some reason or listen to the song please, still add your Tali's top 4 favorite songs and list why they are to her.

So here is my Tali's favorite songs:

1. ShineDown - If You Only Knew: Youtube Video
This is Tali's favorite song from Mass Effect 1. She loves it because it repersents how she felt about Commander Shepherd. If he only knew how much she loved him.

2. Nickelback - So Far Away: Youtube Video
Tali loves this song because it is what she would listen to when she was on the Fleet and Commander Shepherd was away doing the six months before Mass Effect 3. It just reminder her that no matter how far away he was he was still with her.

3. Poets of the Fall - War: Youtube Video
This song repersents everything Tali and Shepherd went through during their journey. This is their song. Tali was always by his side on the battlefield and in life.

4. Nickelback - I'd Come For You: Youtube Video
This is Tali's song for Mass Effect 2 when she wanted to come with Shepherd, but couldn't because of Duty. She wanted to be by his side and help him, but she couldn't at the moment. So she would play this song to remind her that she would be coming to him soon.

Okay, those are my Tali's choice. What about your choices for Tali? I can't wait to see what your Tali listens too during those long space nights.

For me, I really would have trouble going into detail, because to some degree, listening to music and either liking or disliking it comes naturally. I would be fine listening to whatever Tali listens to, and im sure she wouldn't mind listening to what I listen to, because if anything, we both like music that is electronic or techno-based.

Quick question. One of my favorite Tali moments was taking Ashley, my former LI from ME1 on the Geth Dreadnought with Tali and getting the little catfight scene. I was just poking around youtube and found out there are two versions. I've only ever seen this version and was wondering what you have to do to see this other version.

4. I don't want to miss a thing by Aerosmith.

The song "My heart will go on" (from Titanic) fits very well for the time of their separation - from alliance turn-over until their reunion on board the Normandy while meeting the quarian diplomatic vessel in Dholen.

That's a good question.  Most of the time, whenever I listen to techno or electronic based music, I like to use my imagination with it, meaning that I will somehow piece together some sort of scene or whatever to go with it.  It's a little odd, but I feel that at times, putting this music to my own version of a game or other scene I make increases the value of the music if I can put the beats and such together.  Rarely do I just listen to it and get lost.  But...if I were to give Tali four pieces of music from my library that she would like, it would probably be:

1.  DDR Remix - Moonlight Shadow (Only this version, I don't like the voice actor on most of them.)
2.  Dj Splash - This is my life
3.  Come into my dreams (Both DJ Foggy and Weaver versions)
4.  Close Combat - Paragon X9 (Newgrounds)

Hell, id let her look at my whole library to see what I got, but I figured id list four(I may have listed five if you count remixes, but ignore the link in the parentheses if I did), as the question asks, four just does not do it justice.

Well it's the mission you get right after Tali's reveal so I talk to Tali outside the war room then go up to my cabin and talk to her there. I think the cabin scene cements your relationship with Tali so maybe that's the difference? Did you talk to Tali in your cabin after the Dreadnought mission?

Hey Forthary,

That's pretty cool because I do the exact same thing. When I hear a song or see a scene I will begin to make almost like a music video in my head to the song. I also piece together different scenes to go with it. To me, it adds a new depth to the music and allows me to combine my emotions along with my love for the characters and song. Every song I posted I can listen parts of the song that come directly from the Mass Effect game or feelings they may have experienced.

Thanks for posting the four song Tali will listen too, i've been waiting to hear some new techno stuff as I listen to it sometimes too. Thanks.

Always is a great song and I love Aerosmith as well. Haven't heard of Dire Straits before so I'll check them out. I'm emailing Tali to tell her about the new songs maybe my Tali will like them.
