Personally, I think all squadmates should have casual clothing on the Normandy and actual armour on missions. You know, like how it really is Image IPB

But wouldn't "casual" wear change for Quarians kinda be a pain in the arse?

Edited my post to finish the thought. I meant that Tali has her basic enviro-suit, and she can clip/attach/strap armour to it. So she has protection during missions, and can quickly uninstall after business hours Image IPB

Ahh Kinda Figured tali if they did do the armor thing be more like a clip of action figure then actual armor change, with that said I wouldn't mind if they let us do the coloring for Shepard armor in ME2 to all squad mates I do enjoy the color red =3.

to go on the record here im not a troll if u do not agree with whatever i say than thats your opinion. i love the character tali as much as anyone who posts in the tali thread i enjoy posting here and having a good time, and not insult anyone. we are all here for tali support, not to bash others and call them trolls. im not saying anyone has called me or anyone else out. I just like to hear and talk about tali

He's not a troll.
Compare him with Greybox_Inception. You'll see the diffrence.

is a well-established troll living under the Brooklyn Bridge,

Hey Arcian, do you have Brooklyn Bridge in Sweden. I'd like to know that.

and feeds often on Tali anti-hate.

I mostly saw him post NOT about Tali and I think in more then one occasion said he only allows Tali near Normandy's engines.

What this thread really needs is some troll-resistant Tali discussion, wherein notable, discussable content is discussed, and trolls are ignored until their short attention spans cause them to wander. Remember, arguing with a troll will get this thread locked, that only gives them a thrill (which is to be pitied). Image IPB

Agreed but Arcian is not a troll.

He may sometimes go little too far with his jokes, but not even near what we got from usual Tali hater and troll.

Ya know you could just Quote his original post and post what you want after that and not make a small paragraph seem like a page.

Ah, anybody care to continue talking about Tali and not the merits of who's a troll?

I really, really hope they keep those swirls in the purple fabric. They were awesome.

The swirls on her suit sorta represent her personality; calm, refreshing, and intelligent

The swirls are part of her suit since ME1, the only exception is the AA suit. I'm pretty sure they will be back.

About armor attachments, that would be cool.

Who is Greybox_Inception?

And insulting Techno Turian? Maaan, he'd dance your pants off every day, playa.

No, but we do have the Oresund Bridge, which, while more impressive, isn't as fancy or troll-friendly.

That's really just a joke. The reason I leave her on the ship all the time is because I always use Garrus + convenient character such as Miranda. I planned to make an engineer sometime within the foreseeable future and use Tali + Legion for massive dronespam.

I try to converse on a serious level, but I tend to use dry wit and sometimes brutal sarcasm in my argumentation, which can understandably be interpreted as trolling.

According to who?
VettoRyouzou wrote...

A mod can walk in here ban you on site and there is NOTHING you can do about it other then sulk in the fact a mod can abuse there powers
Why would they ban me for stating that I have the right to express my opinion? I might be a blunt instrument that accidentally bludgeons some people here and there without intention, but I can't really say I've gone out of my way to insult anyone, and neither have I ever intended to (except for a time long, long ago when I was a lesser and much more crude and pitiful foo' of a man).
VettoRyouzou wrote...

Can higher ups in the chain punish the mod yes but if they all agree with one another then well sucks to be you!
... agree about what? That I'm right about the freedom of speech-thing? You don't honestly believe they'd ban me for advocating freedom of speech, do you?
VettoRyouzou wrote...

For the love of god stop using that as an argument it doesn't make sense! ((And if you want to get technical the forum is hosted by bioware which is CANADIAN!))
Canada happens to have freedom of speech as one of it's constitutional rights, which kind of makes your argument moot.
http://en.wikipedia...._country#Canada

And my point was that people reserve the right to constructively point out perceived flaws in the character if it is their wish to do so. It's one thing to say, "Tali is a retarded wh*re and I hate her and all her fans" and another to say, "I believe Tali has some character flaws because of reason A and/or reason B". I'm striving to be of the latter category, but it may not always be so obvious due to my heavy-handed way of debating, and of course, the elcor effect.

If we're only allowed to heap praise on her in this thread, it's kind of one-sided and not really a place for discussion.

Of course, purple & yellow have been proven the best, but I wonder what other colours would work well in place of the purple&swirls? I see a darker, metallic colour, maybe. Blue seems overused on the various Quarian women you meet, and green is... Would have to see green to decide.

and maybe Tali could finally use her dagger for up close and personal kills, like  Shepards omniblade.

Yellow? The ME1 suit?

I like the nurse suit color.

The shotgun is more effective than the knife.

The swirls are Talis special acessoire, like Garrus monocle or Kaidans Elvis haircut. I say they all all wear those things with style and charm. That said optional colors of said swirls could be a interesting feature without too much work needed from the developers. Kaidans hair can stay black though.

As for Talis boot knife I think it is actualy a screwdriver. That Tali uses as a stabby knife when necesary. Killing badguys with a screwdriver is more cool than killing badguys with some wussy omni tool knife.

Yes, but the prizeeee! But would it be awesome if your squad mates can also preform special melee attacks? using whatever is given to them? Take for instance Grunt, (if he is an expendable squad mate) he can use his fist's to get the kill.:o

Yes, it would be nice, but I don't mind if they don't do that.

I think Grunt is the only squad member with a melee attack.

About the question how I think Tali should look like... let me dig a little.

Here we go. Best I could do, wanted to add some kind of thumbnail but have no idea how to.
