they don't hire tali fans kuz tali fans would make tali be the main character. shepard would take a backseat and watch tali do all the work. all the other romanceable characters would just be there to be jealous of tali. would make the remaining 25% of the fanbase upset.

also, i love the tali that they've already written
always want more time though

See, sometimes I wonder why they don't hire tali fans to write for tali. Revan idea would have been awesome in game. So would have loved it.

Yeah, they were cool to me. A few things could have been better, but I agree. BIG trouble was ending. I just wished we would have had more tali earlier in game, but oh well....a fella can dream :)

I love the already written Tali also. In my eyes, she's practically perfect in every way!

Had people doing fine writing Tali. Trouble was ending...

Ending. Written by two people. Minimum input from other staff.
The other staff allowed for the final talks with squad, past and present. They also enabled you to save Steve Cortez by sorting out his personal problems. The dialog indicates that that bit was tacked on at the last minute.

People blamed EA. Not their fault. Regardless, EA forced those particular two staff members to do it right. This paragraph is my theory. The first one? Most likely fact.

Reason I'm asking is because a writer pal of mine (Grub) is writing alternate endings for ME3 as a project, and to help dissatsified fans a little bit. We're both Tali fans (although he romanced Liara) but he wants to know about how you guys feel about Tali. What makes her special, how you were expecting to end up with her at the end of the game, etc.

Mass Effect is a game all about different peoples and perspectives, and Grub knows his endings can't reach their full potential unless he gets some idea of what other people wanted in their Shep Stories.

For me personally, Tali's relationship felt much more two-sided than the others, in that Shep (all of mine, at least) very clearly loved Tali, and it was obvious that the feeling was 100% mutual. Tali is capable of taking care of herself, but at the same time still relies on the support of those around her, and provides it in return. Furthermore, her character growth across the series was just astounding, and yet realistic at the same time, from the awestruck girl we met on the Citadel in the very first game, all the way through to the mature, multi-faceted character we found in the final installment, and everything in between. Tali feels real to me in a way that no other character from any medium ever has before.

Fantastic! Thank you for sharing your feelings. And many more like these would be wonderful!

it's a secret, you'll never hear an answer from my lips... no, my fingers. my gender is as subject to speculation as the mass effect 3 endings, until they change. ;)

Have you seen the bit on the PAX panel with Tali's writer, Patrick Weekes? The guy is at least as big a Tali fan as anyone on this thread. Image IPB

So, youre suggesting that the ending dlc will be a revan gender reveal too?Image IPB

I think you're female. How else would you get into gamers and tali's slumber parties?

Depends on how good the ME3 DLC is. If it eradicates the majority of the crap we were given and returns to us a legitimate story, then yeah.

If I'm still here. o__o

@bazzag
this proves nothing.
