Nah. I got it. And am glad Mr. Weekes went that route- I think it's more powerful, speaks of a bond, rather than being utterly direct (and cliche, even if it's still be powerful). There's a *lot* of callbacks, from ME1, ME2, and even within ME3. The "I love you/Keelah se'lai", the "Are you OK?" first said by Shepard, then by Tali on Earth, and even the evolution of Tali first having trouble sleeping in the SR-1, then growing to like the quiet, commenting "I miss the quiet" when she returns in ME2 (and I think there's a line in the trial about it too if you choose a certain option)... culminating in Shepard's classic "I'll find you some place *louder*" flirt during the Geth dreadnought date.

Oh, and they both get to be Han Solo in ME3, saying "I know" at the end. =P
(even though it was more serious, sweet, and sad than Han Solo's roguish use)

There is a part on the crew deck level where tali is standing there looking at the memorial wall, as I call it. They have a little dialog and while simple I found it very effective. They were just talking about people lost and shepherd seems so sad and tali was there and just gave him much needed words of encouragement.

Only dialogue had was about Liara.
Can't get any of Tali dialogue to trigger...

She does say he's the man she loves, at least.

That's how I interpreted it, as well. The way they both pause to briefly gather themselves after saying "you said" as if making a declaration. Also consider that the dialog wheel provides the gist: "I remember. And I meant it." Yet, he responds by repeating Tali's words, not his. It's more than a simple recollection, he's telling Tali that he loves her.

As was mentioned, this isn't the only instance in their relationship with this kind of symbolism.

Ahhh, listening to Tali's heart beat in her body.  Such a soothing way to relax in bed.  She has such a healthy heart, both physically and mentally.

Tali is unique in that all her emotion has to be vocal or body language as we never see her face.

on a side note I wonder of this is why quarians appear at times more animated, or maybe that is just my headcanon kicking in that makes me think their culture has lots of importance on body language.

It is no wonder Tali likes to dance! Hmm huge idea. Reapers dead, Rannoch reclaimed, Relays rebuilt. Tali as an admiral can have mirrors mounted on the ball part of the live ships and kick off the most epic dance party ever using the live ships as disco balls. Then after way too much to drink retires home with Shepard(EDI as the designated shuttle pilot since she cannot get drunk).

It's just...I cringe thinking about it?  Could you just imagine saing that?  That's why I never romanced anyone.  Period.  

Didn't in Mass Effect.  In Mass Effect 2...well, I only romanced one.  And that was her.   I can't make another shepard to romance another character...I'm just...not interested in them like that at all. You know?  And In ME3, it wasn't even a decision at that point.  I NEEDED to keep it with just her...

Is that weird?
