and you'll be taken back to reality.
Hmmm, I am not sure about my plan to lend my game to my friend now... becuase he would fall under the casual catagory and that puts him in the screw up the Rannoch mission group lol, I did not know what was going to happen but I was saved by completionism, but him...

My name is Dave, and I am in love with Tali'Zorah.
Seriously, I'm glad I found this thread. I don't think I've ever had "feelings" for a fictional character before. Then again, Mass Effect isn't your standard work of fiction. But it's good to know that I am not the only one, because I was beginning to worry about myself.
I actually just began playing Mass Effect 2 a little over a month ago (late, I know). I didn't really know much about the game, but saw some of the reviews for it, and it was only $20 at this point, so I decided to pick it up. I wasn't at all prepared for the absolutely incredible experience that followed. So, basically, I've been obsessed with Mass Effect ever since.
It's funny, when I began Mass Effect 2, I knew nothing of the romance options. All I knew about it was that I saw the Paramour achievement, but I had no idea with whom or how romance could be pursued. The more I played, I just assumed I would wind up with Kelly.
So the Tali'Zorah romance took me by complete surprise. I didn't even know it was possible until it started happening. And I've been totally smitten with her since then. She's just...perfect.
So I look forward to discussing the love of our Mass Effect life with ya'll a lot more. Keela se'lai!

I still tend to think they gave her that command just to see if she would fail. Quarians are not humans, but that does not exempt them from political backstabbing.

I was thinking it was exploitation of the lineage/name. Atleast if you suppressed the secret of her fathers experiments.

My take:
The skys brighten over rannoch as 1000s of ships break up in the atmosphere.
Tali stares in siolence before turning to shepard....
"I.... im sorry..." she says before falling backwards off the clif.
"TALI!" He shouts, and without thinking leaps after her.
Using what little biotics he could muster, he pulled her up to him in freefall.
She silently fought his grasp for a moment before tightly embrqcing him for the last time...

thats depressing. how great would it have been if your LI could have made it to the beam with you and when it comes to the part were you shoot the tube that destroys the reapers that you are hugging tali and as it starts blowing up shep and tali are kissing as they are engulfed in flames and die together.Cheese of Borg wrote...

Indeed. To paraphrase engineer Gabby: Tali is the sweetest girl there is.

I just read the trivia on this page. The last part. At the bottom.
...oh god.
That's to haunt people for making Tali sad. Urgh, I hate hearing that people chose the geth. I know they were wronged in the past, but the quarians who tried to wipe them out are all dead by now anyway... and besides, they're robots. I'd rather save the flesh-and-blood people. Of course, this is a moot point. Best to unite them. Two fleets, nobody dies, we all win.
