I would make a youtube account and do let's plays. But it's kind of awkward making let's plays when you have your family living with you.

Yeah yesterday was last day of classes. Now it's just cramming and exams left to do.

Here's a rather interesting question:

Whenever Shepard and Tali have a private moment in their cabin, whether it would be something exotic or if they're just engaging in friendly conversation, does it make you uneasy that EDI still has those monitoring devices in the cabin? While I realize EDI is a loyal member of the crew and ship, I still feel that even a AI such as her shouldn't always be poking in business such as this, especially if it is on a real personal level or involves classified intel...I wish I could find every single monitoring device in the cabin and rip it out...

That's how I feel every time someone subscribes to me on YouTube, or comments on one of my videos.

Cool Youtube Channel. I'll be checking it out in more detail when I get home. I'm curious, how do all of you record your plays? Been wondering how people do that and how people get these scenes to make Tali music videos.

Yeah, that would make me uncomfortable too. If it was just some V.I. I wouldn't care, but EDI is full on A.I. So yeah I would have a slight problem with that. I mean, look what happened on the Geth Ship ME3 when EDI put all of Tali's and my business out there. Moments like that could be avoided.

I'm sure EDI could turn off those monitoring devices if Shepherd asked nicely

In the case of a 3D game like Mass Effect, with Fraps. For older games I either use DOSBox's built-in recording or HyperCam 3.

When making Let's Plays, I let Fraps/Hypercam capture the game audio directly from the game, and simultaneously record live narration on my laptop (while playing the game on my desktop). During editing, I mix the narration and game audio, which allows me to control the levels and get good quality (Let's Plays where the game audio was recorded through the microphone annoy me).

For old games with MIDI music (mainly Sierra games in my case), I own a genuine Roland MT-32 and Roland Sound Canvas SC-88 to get superior music quality.

But I don't believe EDI has such intentions, so I'd be fine with it. I see it as added security.

Didn't EDI disable the Cerebus monitoring devices at the end of ME2?  Sure sounded like she did.  Also I imagine that the Alliance overhaul would remove a bunch.  One final bit - Liara mentions that EDI respects Sheps privacy.

To be fair though, the Normandy is a small ship. I doubt EDI would have needed monitoring devices to know Shepard and Tali got more personal.   I have a feeling they where spending more time together "off camera" once into a relationship.  even before a full on love scene I bet she was going up to his quarters more and more freqently,  would not take an AI to connect the dots.

As for EDI, didn't someone remove some of the cameras?

I believe she removed the Cerebus monitoring devices, but as a A.I. connected to the ship EDI sees and hears everything I would assume.

hmmm.....good point. Makes sense considering Garrus says on the Geth ship he was there when Shepherd and Tali had their "Thing" so the only way for him to know would be if they were on ship showing affecting in public or Shepherd told and in my mind my Sheperd is too much of a gentlemen to tell such things.

I guess so.  It does make me wonder though how Garrus knew of their 'intimacy' during their assault on the collector base.  I could easily see how Garrus would know Tali loves Shepard by their banter, and their frequent visits to the cabin.  I guess the best way to explain is that Garrus and Tali are close friends, and don't mind exchanging secrets with one another because Shepard knows Garrus as well and is close to him too.
