Trying to get my mind around why there was SO MUCH sunlight GLARE in the background.

And considering how Quarians have an adaptive immune system rather than a battling immune system right now, I thought it would be poetic to think their skin could "swallow" sunlight. I don't know much about science though...

It doesn't make sense that a motile species would develop the ability to photosynthesize. But do you mean something else?

I meant more like... their skin can mirror sunlight.
It would help the environment, right?

Hmm, that would make them completely black as no light would be reflected. Not sure that's the way to go, though I appreciate the poetic nature of the idea.

I think the Glare could perhaps just be an atmospheric effect. Perhaps due to greenhouse gasses that keeps Rannoch so hot despite the smaller, less luminous sun.

Then again it could be due to all the shiny Geth satalites in orbit or something like that.

The two kind of conflict. To be walking sunlamps, they really need to be standing still sunlamps, while the seed thing works best if they move around a lot.

Maybe their skin relects extra ultraviolet light or something? Mostly no one would notice but they'd be all glowy to anyone/thing that can see in that frequency range.

EDIT: Just had an amusing thought about seeds. Maybe the plants on rannoch create seeds that are suspiciously similar to Shotgun pellets.

That's entirely possible. There is no reason aliens should see in the same "visible" light range we Earthlings do. A lot of scientists think infra-red vision is likely for theoretical lifeforms that live on habitable planets orbiting Red Dwarf stars. With Rannochs long day/night cycle and apparent random glare, perhaps they have a much broader vision range.

EDIT: Actually it makes the unusual eyes make much more sense if they are doing things beyond that of human eyes. Perhaps they see ultraviolet light.

no to the first one, absolutely yes to the second one, on occaision and not in the bushes for the third one.

I mean just hugging. In public, in private, doesn't matter. Just an expression of love, ignoring everything else around you. Like papparazzi. And cars. And wierd humans taking pictures of you while you hug on the road.

And the lizards are some species of monitor, I don't know which, but they are not dragons.
