I shall be resilient, and enjoy the action, the drama, and the emotion all at once, so by the end of it i shall be emotionally drained and will either raise my turian brandy, or weep and need a hug.

Since I adore Tali's character, and stuff, I've got a question to pose.

Tali adores Shepard, right? She loves him too, but is the love unconditional? Will her love for Shepard overcome all obstacles? In other words, is there anything that would cause Tali not to love Shepard through the course of the game?

Him letting Legion upload the code and the death of her people probably isn't easy to overcome.

I would argue that she still loves him even then, and the love she has for him only multiplies the pain.

Destruction of the quarians would be a downer. Getting her father exiled might cause issues. Having a fling with Allers, then if Tali found out about it...that would mean bad news for Allers

I agree. If they cheat, then they don't love or respect you enough.

I agree, Tali has emotions and feelings and like any person their is always a breaking point. They have been through a lot together and I mean a lot which does forge a strong bond, but Tali will not stand for her trust to be abused. If Shepherd ever cheated or abused her trust I think it would be a deal breaker.

I can't see Tali staying in a one sided relationship or one where she is being taken advantage of. I doubt Shepherd would ever do anything to hurt her as she is my Shepherds soulmate, but I'm sure over the course of their life their will be things that test their love.

Tali definitely has a breaking point. Tali loves Shepard for what he is. If he were to somehow change that as would be indicated in his actions, then I don't think that she would love Shepard. For instance, if Shepard kills all the quarians...

You guys bring up some good points, situation-wise.

However, I must protest this declaration of Tali cutting off her love for Shepard.

I think Tali has unconditional love for Shepard and will never stop loving him.

I'm not saying she won't break up with him, ever. I'm saying that Tali, even after breaking up with him, if Shepard were to come back to her, apologizing for whatever he did, she would take him back every time, and that the love would remain in her heart even after having broken up. That's the ghist of what I see Tali's feelings as being.
