I'm not saying she won't break up with him, ever. I'm saying that Tali, even after breaking up with him, if Shepard were to come back to her, apologizing for whatever he did, she would take him back every time, and that the love would remain in her heart even then. That's the ghist of what I see Tali's feelings as being.

Ah, that is a good point. That seems to be the case if you allow Legion to upload the data. Tali continues to love Shepard but she cannot live with that love anymore due to his actions.

I agree pretty much. Although...I don't think she'd be too happy if you let the quarians die on Rannoch.

True. It took me a while to figure it out especially if you start from the beginning with his ME2 fanfic. It's all in reverse... sort of.

I disagree. I think if it was bad enough that it would be hard to go back even if feelings were still there. The heart does prevail a lot of the time, but if he does something terrible, I think that's when the brain starts beating the heart in prioritizing.

Similar to my views on Tali's love for Shepard.  My fanfics took that love to extremes but still revolve around unconditionally loving him.   As, as I see it, Shepard returns that love.  Just as deeply.

Interesting....I have to think about this, but I know what your saying. Just can't think of how to word my response.

I just think you'd have to be really stupid to go back to someone who knowingly and consciously decided to cheat on you. Sure love can't be broken, but trust definitely can. Even if she did still love him, I don't believe she's that dumb. Once someone cheats, there's no trusting them anymore, even if it is a heart-throb who saves the galaxy multiple times over.

I think if Shepard had done something very terrible, Tali would still love him. However, Tali might not be able to live with herself for loving Shepard. She might not be able to maintain the two thoughts in her head that "Shepard has done something evil beyond anything I have seen" and "I love Shepard." The question then arises, "How can I love him?" If she cannot answer that, she might be overcome. If she can answer that, then she can continue loving him and time and reciprocated love will heal the wound(s).

Let's see if I can explain my POV better.
Shepard cheating on Tali is like a puppy peeing on the floor.
When the puppy pees on the floor, its bad. It's disgusting. It's the puppy's fault. But that doesn't stop Tali from loving the puppy.

Sure, if the way Shepard cheats on her makes it seem like he's lying even when he apologizes, she'd grow more and more hesitant at taking him back, but she would not stop loving him. Unconditional love is all about being willing to look beyond the actions of the subject of said love, and instead loving what is right in front of you, even if it's covered in puppy pee.
Sure Tali would be less and less vulnerable with him as time went on, and would require more proof for honest repentence, but the love would still be there.

Actually she only loves Shepard with her mind. The other things cannot exhibit love but now I am just getting technical. LOL.

doubtful, me2 shows that doing terrible things especially if they affect her people can cause her to refuse even Shepard friendship, maybe even break up with him, or refuse to even talk to him
