Quirks are what make a truly successful relationship. They are what make people special, irreplacable, and human. But I could totally see tali taking advantage of my OCD to help her out in some way. She could get me to make her a completely new suit by complaining that it rotates around her waist when she sprints. I hate stuff like that.

That is a good point.  For some, imperfections are what make others perfect in their eyes.  I'm not sure what kind of quirks Tali would have though now that I think about it...Hmm...or at least, none that I can think of off the top of my head, besides her hand movements.

Stammering when flustered. That's a quirk.

Head tilts, she probably snores, but calls it "heavy breathing", I bet she plays footsies, too while shepard tries to sleep. And while he's in bed with her, she probably always cuddles up to him. Other than that, she's an alien, so there's bound to be cultural differences.

We'd play Halo.  She'd rock the Shotgun.

Although she'd probably hate it.  The story is put hundreds of years more into the future, and they still use pump-action shotguns that only hold 6 rounds.

"Pathetic" She'd say.

"I miss Chiktikka" She'd say.

Exactly I can already see it unfolding:

"The Patty Cake dance was more fun Shepard." Her hands straddle the controller tirelessly, her thumbs navigating the character's horizonal and vertical planes.
"This story is supposed to be set in the future?" She asks in bewilderment as she is killed by Shepard again with the Sniper rifle. He manages to snicker.
"This game...it's not even tactically accurate.  Why would you put tracers in your sniper rifle?"
She waits for the respawn.

"And the shotgun...it only holds..." She  counts the rounds displayed on the hud. "6 rounds? Cased amunition? The worst part is that it's a pump action!  That's...that's ridiculous!" Her head shakes vigourously, her character now subjected to Shepard's assasination.
"I'm questioning the developers of this game.  The Graphics stink and so does the gameplay." She puts the controller down on her lap.
Shepard laughs once more before facing her.
"This console Tali? was made in 2000.  This game is almost 200 years old. Yes. Halo is set about 250 years from now."
Tali's hands fold across her chest to regard her companion.  "I miss Chiktikka."

Tali, your argument is invalidated. Perhaps you should show her some Covenant weapons instead?

Head tilting is adorable. I doubt she snores, she is extremely fit and healthy. Footsies and handsies are adorable. Sleepcuddlin' is nearing critical cuteness. Image IPB

With that third claw of hers?  I think Shepard is a bit fearful of Tali when she steps in bed, especially if she decides on not wearing her suit that night.  Or at least, decides not to wear the foot part of her suit.  I'm not sure about the footsies part.  I think she purrs in her sleep instead of snores.

Though there probably are a lot of quirks that make Tali shine in our eyes.  I just can't think of too many because of the night.  I have to admit, I really like how love between two species can really come together, even when some of the differences, both positive and negative, clash together.  Shepard and Tali puts those who are in hate groups for inter-species relationships to shame.  I'm proud of both of them.

Here's a odd question that most people here might not have a opinion (or like) cuz there is no way in hell we would let Tali die...But the whole love debate a few pages back kinda sparked this.

For those who have seen this sad scene. Why did Tali say "i'm sorry" before falling off the cliff? Was it directed at Shepard? Oh yeah i'm sorry for you being the biggest ****** ever! Sorry for ever trusting you? Or just sorry that I have to resort to this? I dunno her final words kinda confused me when I saw it...Oh wait yes it never happened nvm. ;p

Getting back to the "unconditional love" bit...

If Shepard has some weird quirks or something like that, she'll still love him.

If it's something common, I agree.  Depending on what it is, Tali may simply tolerate/ignore it, or she may even use it to her advantage.  How would she, you ask?  Well, maybe massages, manicure/pedicures, scraping off dead quarian skin, or just stuff like that.  Nothing too crazy...or at least, that we want to speak of.

Oh, and don't mind Cheese.  Like all of us, he loves Tali.  I won't lie, he has some rather odd...thoughts about her, but as long as he makes a effort to keep him in check, he'll adapt over time...

Fixed that for you.

But to seriously answer your question...it could be because she's sorry she had to resort to this, or because she was so tramuatized by the event she resorted to the one response im sure she has said a lot over her years.

As im sure Tali would say, "Oh, here we go." with a facepalm to go with it...

If it had happened, it would have been because she was utterly broken.
Every other time she's wronged, she gets mad. It's the OOCness of it that's meant to hammer home that she's already dead. Her biological processes just weren't informed...

I'm sure we all have our strangeness, not all of which would be appropriate here. Of course there's a difference between... something more harmless, and say.... "I like to bury corpses in the backyard."

Purring sounds adorable. And I would not be too worried too much about being disemboweled by a vestigial claw. You might get some scratches during the night, but nothing serious. And almost everything we love about her is a quirk, it is just hard to see it that way for us. Her selflessness, her naiviete, her nerdyness, her incredible shyness in personal matters, her courage in battle, and her complete trust in her white knight.

Agreed. Are technology now looks like it could kick the living ass out of any ground troops the Covenant would muster to put on our planet.  Except space battles. Then it's pointless.

Tali'd kick all their asses.  Along with Shepard and Garrus.  It'd be a blood bath of idiotic grunts, jackals, elits and the like.  Mass effect weapons would KILL.
