Oh man making the ME3 ending work is hard, cant tell you how many times I redid chapter 2. I totally understand how that will be slowing you down.

Even thoe I published most my chapters recently within the space of a few days, Chapter 1 and 2 were done nearly 2 weeks ago lol, spent most that time redoing 2, and writing 3-5 in my head. 6-7 came while writing 3-5 down lol.

I used to suffer the same thing, and forget really good ideas. Jot them down on a piece of paper, a new word doc or sumptin. Write them down in bullet point form, explaining all the points, bits of dialogue that you want to add, if any springs to mind. And above all, when stuck, don't be afraid to completely change that segement, or cut ideas out.

I wasn't too bad with my ending fanfic. I think it was because i knew what i wanted from the end of it, and a key aspect near the beginning, so it all linked together nicely. The origin of the reapers was pretty much the last thing i wrote, as i decided it would be nice to include it, and try to make sense of why the reaps are such meanies. The hardest part for me to write was how to get shep off the citadel.

Sorry I've been gone a while, got sidetracked haha. Yeah I've got a basic outline of what I want to happen. I solved the getting off the citadel problem by using the indoctrination theory and having Shep wake up at the end in the rubble after being Harbinger'd, waking up from the "dream", so he was never on the citadel at first. I'm solving the teleporting squadmates thing by just making them stay on the Normandy while Shep does the final run on his own, and Joker doesn't randomly bugger off into oblivion. One of my main problems at the moment is writing it well. I'm generally a good writer, but I'm pretty awful at explaining whats in my mind, similar to my inability to draw art (awesome stuff in my mind, can't translate it to paper). My other main problem is figuring out how to do the citadel/crucible working. I don't want just a generic "FIAR TEH LAZORR" and that be that, I want to fit Harbinger into it as well as some other stuff. After I work that out then I can get the Tali/Rannoch jazz happening.
