I have a little idea to all guys uploading their Fan fics about Tali in this thread - it is a shame lots of them are left unnoticed as this thread expands very fast and people cant get on thrack with all the stuff coming around.

My sugestion is we make separate moderated thread with ONLY the fan ficions, videos links and pictures without any coments. This would make tham much more transparent and easier to find.

Personally, I think that a frigate exploding in your face would have caused multiple combat suit ruptures on Shepard (more so than shown in game or this fic) but hey, if he miraculously survived the explosion unscathed, I can see him (at least my version of Shepard) sending a last goodbye to the love of his life.

Hey Stellar, I really liked the fanfic you posted a few pages ago. Any ETA on when we can see the next chapter in "Break the Cycle"? Or is it still a case of  "it'll be done when its done"?

It's done when its done... and when I get time to finish it.  I'm working on an original novel atm... well, finishing pulling it together.  I've got an advisor breathing down my neck for it.

Edit: GoG ToXiC... To avoid the BSN formating issues, transfer it to notepad or context then copy into BSN.  You'll have to manually add italics and so forth but it gets around most of the issues.

After getting in a very annoying discussion, I thought I would bring up this topic:

Why does Tali not simply WEAKEN her immune system, instead of improving it? If the only real threat is an allergic reaction, then she just needs to weaken her immune system so she can safely have sex with humans. Perhaps Tali simply didnt know? Considering she`s an engineer, it would be very understandable.

I think you mean suppress it so it only flares up when a bacteria/virus that can actually get her sick gets into the body. If she took out her immune system then quarian germs would kill her.

Im aware of that, but temporarily weakening it instead of temporarily boosting it before the romance scene would have made more sense.

Yes it would have made more sense. That's what I said. Modify it so it doesn't freak the F out whenever a harmless germ gets inside, and only acts up when there's quarian germs.

Doing what you said would be a temporary solution while a permanent one is found.

I believe that while Tali wanted to be with Shepard, she still didn't want to become hindrance for the mission. Now if Tali would not have taken both antibiotics and herbal supplements, she would have get more seriously ill and even so much that it could have affected negatively on the mission. Or in worse case, Tali's performance could have decreased so much that it could have lead to her or someone else death.

And it's like Tali said. Quarians must always think about needs of the whole crew or people could get hurt or killed.

improving her immune system with immuno boosters ect. would only help against dextro germs, and so would only increase the affects of an allergic reaction since she was sleeping with shepard. So, it still would have made more sense for her to surpress her immune system. She was actually making the situation worse as wella s increasing the risk factor for herself and the mission by improving her immune system.
