I'd like to talk about her personality, and sift through which parts of her were caused by what.
For instance:
Tali's vulnerability: first created through constant expectations placed on her by the fleet. She would hide her faults, and put up a very well-constructed front in order to stay in harmony with their view of her. As her personality armor grew more and more protective, the inner self became more and more vulnerable.

And we would also need a list of her character traits!! Let's throw these talimancin heads together ftw!!

I think if you take someone that has to live with a physical mask and then encourage her to have a psychological one it is going to leave a mark. I wonder just how she would act when not around people she trusts emotionally. I guess we saw a bit of that on Freedoms Progress.

Yeah, definitely a lot more guarded, has  alot of armor up.
That's probably also why she doesn't deal with authority well; her true self isn't so easily shown to strangers, and they can probably tell that she's not being honest with them.

Some of the questions are not so much about personality as they are just about life situations. I figured the "time working for the government" would score Garrus points (as well as Shepard, Ashley and Kaiden), and the "problems with beurocracy" has Garrus written all over it and not everyone will have been in that situation. I have on both counts, which is part of why I had Garrus tied for top spot (with Tali and Liara).

Yeah, definitely a lot more guarded, has  alot of armor up.
That's probably also why she doesn't deal with authority well; her true self isn't so easily shown to strangers, and they can probably tell that she's not being honest with them.

I think it's even worse with the Admirals. Because they all (likely) knew her growing up and while she may have done her best to keep her mask on, it's bound to have slipped and they are bound to have known. Which puts her in a spot where she feels extra vulnerable around them, like they can see through her armour. That has got to be unsettling. She could probably hold her own (at least on the outside), if she was confronted by alien authorities, such as the council, but without that armor... she needs a Shephug.

Back from lunch. Yeah, I have all the resources to already built it. I have Aweber (mailing list), Wordpress, Access, themes, plugins,  free domains, programmers, writers etc. I have domains galore and all of that. Total time to setup a Decent website with Chat, Member Newsletter and all, 24 hours to 48 hours.

but just know if the majority of people want it I would be happy to do it. i love talking with all of you so wouldn't be a problem I wouldn;t do it unless the majority wanted it and highly respected people here such as Gamer and Bazz and others signed off. Now, back to Tali. The best character in ME
