I dunno why people think ME1 was hard.
That was the easiest of the series IMO...

Now why would I do that?
Any game can be hard if the strategy used is a dumb one. :whistle:

When?  In ME1 or 3?  I have to admit, Noveria is a total joke in Mass Effect 3, I could have easily dismissed it as Hoth if I wanted to.  Didn't seem anything like it.

Hmm I have found watching the official launch trailer gets me into the mood for playing and I killed mordin for the first time last night and deleted that save directly afterwards.

Highest difficulty setting + krogan = house of horrors. Imunnity was not sarcastically named. Those bastards run you over, pull immunity, and rip your squad apart with volleys of carnage. They regen their HP to full as fast as ME2 vorcha, and they do it with a hundred times the health. ME2 and 3 krogan die in just a few shots, move slow as mollases, don't knock your whole squad down with rushes and carnage, and don't have immunity/ridiculous regen. And then you have armitures, collosi, stalkers, those freaking tiny green rachni, the damn ten trillion health thorian creepers, and biotic enemies throwing you around like a rag doll all damn day. I miss that.

I've played ME3 twice, once with MaleShep and once with FemShep, and I'll play it again in the future, if only to record my Let's Play (that will probably be after the extended cut comes out, though).

Also, you people are way to good at this? Insanity, really... I play on normal and it's hard enough for me then!

How was I suppose to know going to Noveria first was a bad idea?

It's not hard, it just forces you to think, and ME2 and especially 3 are cakewalks in comparison.

The same way it's easy to tell going to Orzamar first in Dragon Age is a bad idea.
Go with the one that sounds least intimidating first.

Large plant monster < Benezia

Feros it is!

Way I see it difficulty wise:
ME2>ME3>ME1

I just find ME1 to have awkward/clunky combat.

gamer_girl wrote...
...You realize you can switch the class from ME2 imports right?
I was a soldier in ME2 but an infiltrator in ME3.
Also ME3 insanity is waaaay easier than ME2 insanity.

Yeah I completely forgot about that, feel like a retard now. *looks down in shame*

I tried going through another play through. Cant do it.

Neither can I.

The game just isn't complete for me.  I've reached that barrier where I don't want to play until the ending is fixed.  On the other hand, if they fix this ending, I might be interested in replaying the game from 1 to 3, but otherwise...im gonna wait until then.

Summer is never gonna come fast enough for either me or Tali.  But when it does...it'll be great.

Yah, the game is not compelling anymore... on the other hand I have the tali scene on demand now!B)

Damned too few of them for my liking.

I'm back after a long night lol. I agree, ME1, 3 and then 2. 1 wasn't really hard for me, just really long.

First time I played ME1 I did it on casual and I got absolutely slaughtered in some places (except near the end when you just become too overpowered). Then again, that was the first time I'd played a shooter in 17 years. Image IPB

@Olueq
Obviously they were thinking it was a good ending.
Otherwise it would have been different.

But seriously dude, you need more serotonin.
Happiness = good.

But they even said "Its the journey that counts" they knew it was bad.

SO WHY THE **** DID THEY GO WITH THAT? SELL DLC? SELL MORE ME GAMES? **** EA.

Agreed.  I'm playing through ME 1 again right now to save Ashley instead of Kaidan (want to hear the extra dialogue in Engineering Image IPB), and kill off Rana Thanopsis, the one Asari "secretary" on Saren's base (you get an "email' about how she goes nuts and kills off high ranking Asari officials and then herself, so I'll kill her first and save us the trouble).

Can't change my Adept class (one of the positive things in the later installments for imports), but the biotic Lift, Throw, and Singularity have always been fun to use with the rag-doll physics.  Krogan are indeed a force to be reckoned with, but are admittedly easier to kill when they're in Stasis or floating around in the air.
