I understand everyone don't want the same face. And quite frankly, I don't really mind if they do it a bit different, just that this is the best picture I've seen so far (in my oppinion).

Enough with the purple... purple is as gay as cats is gay... And that is pretty much the only place where I would use gay as a negative connotation but ... there it just fits (Yes I don't like purple and I can only barely accept cats *lol*).


Anyways space elf seems too familiar whereas alien/facehugger seem too spacey just for the sake of being spacey. IMHO,

Just throwing myself into the thread to support one of my favorite characters.  I'd prefer it if her face was shown, at least after the "little" stunt in her romance before suicide mission in ME 2.

Not a fan. Its nice art, but that picture makes her look even more human than the Asari! Hell that picture even looks like a person I know.

Yep. Just my opinion, but I find it mind boggling why someone would call that human with a splash of face paint alien; Star Trek differs more. At least space night elves have pointy ears, shiny eyes and purple skin.


(And yes, I would dread Tali being a space elf, though I, of course, know Bioware wouldn't do such a thing)

Apparently, as Quarians have ear-analogues and you can see her nose through her mask, there would have to be a lot of stalks.

I kinda envision quarians looking like that (with the women having a more feminine face structure of course), but without the voluminous hair (since that's not conducive to being crammed in a helmet all the time).

Yeah, pretty much. Hair isn't exactly sanitary, especially if cooped up inside a helmet.

No, you're not. I appreciate the one with the tentacly hair, but all I expect to see on Tali are the shiny eyes and nose that we already see through her visor.




Edit: Also, I think hair/hair analogue doesn't really have to do with being in a suit, as they have suits that keep them sterile, ventilated, can section off parts, etc. They're highly advanced; Taking care of hair is a non-issue compared to the other variables they have to deal with.

Also, their planet relies on the mammals (of which Quarians are) to spread pollen around. Would make sense if there was something fine to trap pollen in, which hair-like matter would do.

More sanitary is a given; It'd be completely sterile. More permanent, though, I'm not quite sure how to take that. Hair falls out according to genes, it isn't affected by cleanliness or exposure to the sun or the elements.

I hope they have hair, but that's just my personal preference. One of the main reasons that I didn't like Jack was the fact that she was bald.

It wouldn't phase me if Tali was bald, I just think it's likely that they would have a kind of hair. Look at our mammals, which are extremely diverse; Nearly all have fur or hair, very few have quills, and even fewer are bald. To be a bald mammal on a pollen-reliant planet sounds off.


From what Tali says on her loyalty mission, she thinks it would take generations for Quarians to adapt to their planet without suits and not suffer at all for it. However, as their planet isn't supposed to contain any bad infections, it would be a lot safer than a place like Earth.

Still, out of all the species listed so far, only Humans and Quarians are mammalien, and share a very similar body structure. They really would have been better Human-lookalikes than Asari (Unless they're all brainwashing us, of course... )

But yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Quarians looked like Humans, but with a minor twist although I think Bioware will do something rather than the cop out of just having purple humans
