Tali it's plain attraction - to a galaxy-saving hero. I doubt that she'd give me a second glance

I don't know about that.  Even though she said those things about the "dashing commander", I think it's more about trust with her.  I don't think she's concerned so much about Shepard's accomplishments per se, but more his personal characteristics.  In other words, I feel like she cares much more about who he is than what he is.
