Imagine if the only way to see tali's face is taking her on the run to the beam, and then the two of you stumbling towards it after you get blown up, your armor is shredded and melted, her suit is torn in dozens of places, her wrap is cinders, her helmet is wrecked and the visor smashed, and you get to look into her eyes for a few moments as you ever so slowly support eachother to the beam. It's too bittersweet... you're both doomed, you lose too much blood and your armor is fused to your skin, her suit is compromised and there is no way she could survive the contamination. Just end the reapers together, and share last breaths.

Oh wait, I didn't now the galatic readiness thing played a part in her death or not. I knew she could die on Rannoch, but haven't heard about the galatic rediness thing. Don't tell me though as it will make me sad. My first play through of ME3 I had about 5000 score and I took her with me to earth and see lived when the ship crashed on the strange alien planet. I guess I need to read more Walkthrough gudies lol

Ah, I meant in a fan-fictional 'what-if' sense.  In-game, loving her doesn't contribute to her survival in either Mass Effect 2 or 3.  But in real-life, loving Tali'Zorah has kept me holding on to this game, otherwise it would be dead in the water for me.

Ohhh okay my bad, (Facepalm)

Yeah, I completely agree. It amazes me how the game, the relationship and the meaning behind the relationships have took off so much and in reality, make people connect with the game and the characters on a whole new level Everyday I wake  up hoping to hear good news about Tali's character.

I know for a fact Bioware NEVER expected the relationship in game to become what they did, especially with Tali. I may not like Bioware's ending, but I have to give them credit for brining us Tali.

I know in my mind I will somehow be sleeping in this posture with Tali tonight.  I might try to roll over on her once, and she may pull my hair while I play feetsies and handsies with her, but I think we'll sleep well tonight.  Sadly, im a bit of a rough sleeper.  Assuming Tali actually sleeps, of course.  I found it odd that Shepard was sleeping while Tali was awake in that scene...

God, I was just thinking of the ending in my mind and what you guys said about Tali being their in the end with you. Now that I spent a minute thinking about it I can totally see it. Especially if you chose Destroy The Reapers. I can see the two of them holding hands as they walk toward the device, they look at each other, Tali takes off her helmet, they kiss, then they walk together hand in hand while in the other hand Shepard pulls his pistol out and start to destroy the device.

Sad ending, but sooooooo would have been amazing to see them go down together, true love!

I won't lie, I was scared as HELL. I was scared that the game would end with my crew stranded and they wouldn't show Tali coming out safe. I had saw some Youtube vids of the ending, but none with Tali coming out safe. I didn't know what determined that factor when I first played. So when I beat the game the first time and Tali and Garrus came out the ship I was SO happy, sad, but happy she was alive.Gave me hope..

Darn that ending :( I do feel that ME3 gave Tali some amazing and heart filled lines though :) so that made me a little happier. Still wish they would have showed my Tali instead of Liara at that one part where they show Anderson, Joker and so on.

I had Garrus and Tali come out of the normandy as well. I wonder what portion of the crew, if any, were killed in the crash.

Yeah, the whole ending I was just hoping Tali was okay. Then I say her leave the Normandy. That was a relief.

THANK YOU!!!!! lol, I thought I was the only person who wondered that. I have a feeling at least 10 to 15 had to die in that crash landing. Joker is a great Pilot, but the Normandy looked Screwed. I hope everyone lived, but realisticlly I say 10 to 15.

Yeah, I literally spent a few minutes looking around for Garrus and Tali after you wake up after being hit by Harbinger's beam. I won't lie, I was scared as hell. I really thought they were dead.

For real, it really made me feel better because I tell you, when I saw the ending my jaw was dropped the whole time. Lol, I remember almost 5 minutes after the entire game, ending, credits and the kid and old guy talking I was still sitting there thinking......okay, waiting for the real ending lol

In all honesty though, as long as Tali surived and Shepard surivied which mine did, I'm assuming from the breath. It gives me hope.

HAHA...me too. I was like, screw the beam. Where are my friends. That is one thing I will give ME3. They did a great job of really making you FEEL as if you were there. The scenes and the way they handled certain stages, like the whole running at the beam, waking up from the beam hit....very emotionally charged.

I kept looking carefully at every dead person on the ground just praying I wouldn't see Quarian or Turian anyway. Lol. the most scared I ever been, in real life

I think I saw Javik fly out of the airlock as the normandy was trying to warp away from the explosion behind them.  I couldn't tell though because it was happening all too fast.

Lol, good ol' Javik. I liked everything about him, except the voice. I enjoyed the dialog between Tali and him though. It was like Javik was trying to be the guy no one liked on the crew.

Tali: I see what Liara meant about you...lol

Indeed. Shepard survived for me as well, with Tali and Garrus too. So I have some hope too, I suppose.

Yeah, suppose is the right word my friend. I feel the same way, I loved the journey, but without the ending it just felt so incomplete, but you know one thing does rattle around in my mind. When Bioware said if they knew what we had in store for everyone they wouldn;t complain. I'm sure it was just crowd control, but hmmmmm...

Either way, as long as Tali, Garrus and Shepard surive there is hope. I suppose.

Question. Will you play Mass Effect 4 if there is no Tali or Shepard?

Yeah, for me, even though Mass Effect is more than one character. My Mass Effect was Shepard, Tali and Garrus. Those are the bonds I've built and without them the game just feels...empty.

Plus, as I've said on many times. Tali was an accident. Bioware never meant for her character to grow into one of the most popular in my opinion. Tali is a rare character in my book and the chances of them getting the right mix of emotion, traits and personality in one character again just seems....hopeless.

I mean, why does it have to be the end of Shepard's story. To me we need a whole other mass effect just to get the conclusions we need. I mean, we stopped the reapers, maybe lol so now lets take the war to them. Travel to dark space, learn about them...you know what...never mind lol. It just makes me sad :(

I dont see how they can make another ME though. Theres too many variables. What happens to the geth, quarians, krogan, ect. Is everyone a cyborg now? In fact, if you get the worst ending, everyone on earth dies.
