I dont see how they can make another ME though. Theres too many variables. What happens to the geth, quarians, krogan, ect. Is everyone a cyborg now? In fact, if you get the worst ending, everyone on earth dies.
Lol...thought I was going but saw this question and mass effect 2 is acting up
Im sure I'll catch you on tomorrow. Night...again lol

That doesn't need to be a problem. Most people went into Titanic or Apollo 13 already knowing the outcome, but those are still great movies.Exiledone1 wrote...
Like the morning wars, which I could enjoy maybe because I love geth and Quarian, but the problem would be we already know the ending.

Yeah, the Titanic makes it to port and Apollo 13 lands on the moon, right?

Imagine if the only way to see tali's face is taking her on the run to the beam, and then the two of you stumbling towards it after you get blown up, your armor is shredded and melted, her suit is torn in dozens of places, her wrap is cinders, her helmet is wrecked and the visor smashed, and you get to look into her eyes for a few moments as you ever so slowly support eachother to the beam. It's too bittersweet... you're both doomed, you lose too much blood and your armor is fused to your skin, her suit is compromised and there is no way she could survive the contamination. Just end the reapers together, and share last breaths.

Warding off sad with more tali
Which would go well with the song I just put up.
I wish the song was longer. I may have to add that to my Tali Sound track Im making. Thanks for posting it
Don't worry. I am making it longer. ;D

Well if you think about it ME1 has the same ending (killing sovereign and saving everyone), the difference is how you do it. ME2 no matter what you defeat the collectors and save the galaxy, but you can change how you do it. The same could work for this, no matter what the Quarians are driven out, but we can still choose what happens to get to that stage.Olueq wrote...
ME is different though. Its all about choices and how those choices have consequences. If we already know the outcome then whats the point?

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I agree with the olueq a little bit too. For mass effect, a game about how choices affect the world around you....hmmmm, just don't know. I mean, the choices would still make the game, thus the journey different but I'm sure at the end it would all still lead to the same outcome....oh wait, that is mass effect 3 well and 1 and 2 lol.
I mean, I'm curious to see it and I may rent it, not buy if no tali or Shepard, but I'm still up in the air. Too see rannoch back before the war and the Quarians without mask, and maybe their culture could be cool thou. I think it could work but it would feel like a different game to me, but well see I guess. There have been rumors about me4 being a story aboutnda and if that was the case...kiss me goodbye lol.
I would be willing to check out a morning war game though...if done right.

Yeah, the whole ending I was just hoping Tali was okay. Then I say her leave the Normandy. That was a relief.

That's not how probabilities work. What you're saying is like saying you have a 50% chance of winning the lottery: you either win it, or you don't.Flammenpanzer wrote...

Based on the distribution of life in the galaxy, I'd say the odds of the planet being levo-based are far higher than it being dextro. There is of course also the possibility that all food provided by the planet is poisonous to the entire crew regardless of chirality.
However, the time scale of the ending suggests they can't have gotten that far. The Charon relay leads to Arcturus, which is only 35 ly away, well within regular FTL distance, and I don't think there was time for them to use more relays. Now Arcturus certainly has no jungle worlds, and we don't exactly know what being hit by the Crucible's energy did, but I think it's reasonable to assume they have to be in the vicinity. That means, it's possible for them to be rescued, at least in my opinion. I expect they would be able to survive a few weeks or months at least if they ration the ship's provisions, so they can hold on until they are rescued.
Therefore, in my headcanon, Tali was rescued, and she and Shepard (who survived the destroy ending) are reunited. The ending doesn't directly contradict that possibility, so I'm sticking with it until the extended cut comes out.

I'm aware that's not exactly how statistics work, but I was just using an over-simplification. I don't have any numbers to draw alternative math out of...I mean, I suppose I could find out all the planets in the galaxy, then find out how many have 'Race X, Y, Z' colonies, and make a rough idea from that...but then we're talking about hours of work to make a small point
Honestly, I'm worried that the Extended Cut is going to screw with me worse. I already tried to burn Tali's photoshop from my mind, and took a few more weeks to convince myself the in-game endings didn't happen XD
Edit: Btw, has Rage's fanfic been updated in a while? I can't remember last time I read it.

Then I feel sorry for you, because based on released information about the extended cut there is 100% certainty they won't use the indoctrination theory.zapphoman24 wrote...
I'm still sticking with the Indoctrination Theory. I think it was all in Shepards head. I feel that without that theory, then the ending was terrible. I truely hope the future dlc will prove it right. Hopefully we will get to build that house for Tali.
