That's not how probabilities work. What you're saying is like saying you have a 50% chance of winning the lottery: you either win it, or you don't.

Based on the distribution of life in the galaxy, I'd say the odds of the planet being levo-based are far higher than it being dextro. There is of course also the possibility that all food provided by the planet is poisonous to the entire crew regardless of chirality.

However, the time scale of the ending suggests they can't have gotten that far. The Charon relay leads to Arcturus, which is only 35 ly away, well within regular FTL distance, and I don't think there was time for them to use more relays. Now Arcturus certainly has no jungle worlds, and we don't exactly know what being hit by the Crucible's energy did, but I think it's reasonable to assume they have to be in the vicinity. That means, it's possible for them to be rescued, at least in my opinion. I expect they would be able to survive a few weeks or months at least if they ration the ship's provisions, so they can hold on until they are rescued.

Therefore, in my headcanon, Tali was rescued, and she and Shepard (who survived the destroy ending) are reunited. The ending doesn't directly contradict that possibility, so I'm sticking with it until the extended cut comes out.

That's even assuming they used the relay, if they just used ftl to escape then they are even closer to earth.  The chance they are rescued is a reasonable assumption based on the endings we currently have.
