I don't know I kinda gave up on Mass Effect already. I just hang around for fun.

No use in dwelling on it. Hell I'm actually lying, I'm still depressed and I don't feel like playing Mass Effect 3 anymore.


The first 2 games we're far better. Better polished and it had more passion.

The campaign is especially important for those of us who have been unable to play the single player game. Sine EA hasn't seen us playing SP, they're thinking that SP is a lost cause and won't devote money to the ending DLC (in which case, it won't be very good). It's important for all of us who would buy Bioware DLC IF the ending is done well to stand up and be counted.

I want to be able to play the game (any of them) again and enjoy it. Right now, I can't do that because the ending is hanging over everything like a sword. Just think what it would be like to be excited about Mass Effect again. If the DLC is good, and not half-assed, we could have that again. Please consider joining. It's free, easy, and at this point, we have nothing to lose.

Same here. I occasionally play multiplayer, yes. But only to lift up the readiness again for the time when I will get a reason to play the game again. Right now, the whole ME3 single player again is utterly futile for it ends in mass extinction. And I refuse to take part in any attempt to mass extinct anything, not even virtually.

Don't lose hope. The ending DLC can restore our will to play the game if it is done right. We just need to make sure that happens.

Ah that would explain the "seeing Tali more as a little sis" thing the pics description.  Thanks for the correction.

When it comes to the ending, it would be interesting if there was a conflict with your love interest. I envision two things, both of which could or could not happen:

The first thing is that harbinger attempts to control her and possibly Shepard. She tries to get Tali to fall backwards from a steep drop headfirst, and Shepard has to save her, with some interrupts and button mashing. Depending on your galactic resources, it'll either be easy, challenging or difficult for you to save Tali. In all cases, it'll be emotional, and something many, many players will be on edge about.

The second one depends on your galactic readiness as well. When Shepard is programming the catalyst, Tali is bleeding out badly, and needs prompt medical attention from Shepard. However, depending on your choices from previous games, as well as your galactic readiness, there may be no consequences for running over to save Tali, many lives could be lost, or a whole race (Geth comes to mind) could be obliterated. The choice is yours.

But to be honest, I wouldn't expect much. They said they were doing more than just a few cutscenes, which may imply there will be more battle sequences, and maybe even a final boss, despite what the developers state. Harbinger would be a great final boss that'll do more than shoot lasers at you. But...I would prepare for the worst, just in case.

Yeah. I think it offers some hope, and I also feel like we are approaching the conclusion rather fast, with all the upbuilding and foreshadowing.

I'm still going with my speculatory reasoning for how it works out, unless when summer hits, BioWare presents an even better one to me.

Hope has been a theme of Mass Effect 3. We should take a page out of Tali's book and hold out hope for the ending. However, I hope for the best and plan for the worst.
There is hope because Bioware made the ending so bloody vague that they can most certainly either create a new game (which they better not) or conclude with the DLC in the summer. Hopefully they can call upon the excellent writing that they abandoned during the last 5 minutes of the game and use it to fix this tragedy.
