 Now we are discussing pet names for future spouses. What a strange custom, pet names. When you receive your name on your 15th name day and go off to boot camp on Palaven you have that name for your entire life.

I learned that the human's Biological Species Concept states that if two individuals can successfully mate with each other, they are considered of the same species. Are Turaians and Quarians different species according to humans?

Of course they are. Turians and quarians only have the same chirality, they cannot produce offspring.

The common scientific definition of species is "two populations between which breeding cannot occur, or for which breeding produces nonviable offspring." So they are different species. Because they can't have children at all.

The point I was making is feritile ofspring are required for succesfull mating, "doing it" does not count
