You have no idea the biology contortionist act you would have to go through to make a quman possible through standard mating. Seriously. There are over 1000 reasons that it would just not work. Don't try to make sense of it. You will fail. Just hand wave it or something.Terrorize69 wrote...

Yep. Liger is male lion/female tiger, while tiglon is male tiger/female lion.
I think the animal naming department was on vacation when they came up with those names though. Sheesh, I thought I was bad at naming things.
Probably too stuffed with dodo meat to stand and do things like that properly

Hmm, could be one reason why a fictional character has so much appeal and gets to my normally invisible romantic side. It's missing the downsides of reality, which for me have usually meant that I get frustrated with not having a great deal of time entirely to myself, with no-one else in the house. I suspect that's why I've never had a relationship that's lasted very long. Then again I've never met anyone like Tali.Fenrisfil wrote...
I would mostly agree, though Talimancing has rekindled my romantic side. Reminded me what I'm missing. That's not a bad thing really.
Does anyone else ever hope that no-one they know in reality reads these posts and works out who you are?
I never want that to happen. This is where I come to vent and discuss issues that the people around me in reality would see as a waste of time. No one I know would ever consider Tali worthy of Forum discussion or video games worth discussion for that matter.

Don't ask me more, I'm no biologist.
Well a few years ago scientists set about bringing back from extinction an old type of horse called a Quagga. The last quagga that had lived had been stuffed, but it wasn't a very good job, and they were able to extract DNA. The closest living thing that is related to it today is the zebra, and so they injected this quagga DNA into a zebra embryo, and injected the embryo back into its mother (sumptin like that anyway). When the zebra was born, it was a zebra with quagga traits. Now, its just a matter of generations before the quagga is brought back.

Ah the Quagga, brings me back to GCSE biology

Tali as a character is more real than any of the others, mostly due to her being both sweet and very quick to anger. Liara is more...unrealistic and just gets a bit deeper due to ME3 making her moody and troubled, as well. Tali always was both sides, and thus just more realistic. No wonder she gets perceived as the best. I just remind you of meenoy6's drawings.
This is not nerd rage. I'm not even a nerd, I qualify for dork. This is pure disgust that somebody painted a frowny face where Mona Lisa's smile would be...well, maybe a bit much, since the series still doesn't reach that quality of storytelling, but still. From an artistic point of view, it's insulting 120 hours of gaming and storytelling by five minutes of pouring feces on it.
I was talking in general about the Nerd rage, not specifically about your reaction. But I can rephrase as Dork rage if you prefer.

It would be more like the giant turtles of places like the galapagos. These turtles tasted so good that when Darwin took some to study, he and the crew ended up eating them! So they went back, fetched some more...and ate them too!

Of course you can never return to the original line of quagga, you'll create a new line that carries a lot of features and might be related, but not the same thing, extinct is extinct unless you can clone 1:1 without mix, which is barely impossible and WHY AM I HELPING DERAILING THIS?!?

@Reorte You just need to find someone as independent as you are.
But I get what you're saying. Clinginess would be annoying. I like having time to myself.
You can't have clinginess in a relationship. It would get to intense and pressurised. You need that time to yourself

Well you see all the husks/ other horrific creations they made with other species, but they would have needed millions of captured specimins to create those, and the quarians only number in the millions, and I doubt any Quarians have been captured in significant enough quantities

Some relationships that seem unhealthy to us are actually healthy for the people involved.
Like a clinger and someone who likes to be needed.
Or a sadist and a masochist.
