But for the record, Renegade Shep doesn't deserve Tali.

Well instead of opening a door for her he would just find some random person and use them to break the glass of the door so she could go in.

I'd certainly go for that.
F'kin hilarious, it'd be.

...anyway, I think I'll leave. Got a certain fanfic writer on here I wish to mildly needle with words of criticism.
...nah, I'm not the brutalising type :P

As much as i would love to stay, this old romantic must be off to bed.
So a brofist to the guys
A kiss on the hand and roses to the girls
and i shall see you tomorrow!
G'night!

Well I kind of figured in same sex relationships it was kind of understood which is more dominant in which areas, just as it is in o/s relationships.
I mean, there has to be a person who leads in a dance. Both people can't lead.

Wow, glad im keeping my relationships limited to just fictional characters, otherwise I would be in a world of trouble if I dared tried it in real-life...

I say that although the outcome is an unknown quantity, perhaps you should attempt it anyway.

I did once a long time ago, when I was foolish, when I was young, and when I didn't know anything.  It opened my eyes to a whole new world; a world that taught me what little I know today about love and the responsibilities that accompany it.  In the end, it's just not worth it here.  When I die, I can recreate my own version of Tali and love her as much as if not more than commander Shepard does.  But in the real-world?  Tali's not worth persuing.  The only leader I ever was of is myself.  And I still am.  I'm glad Tali has commander Shepard; a strong, intelligent man who can make the hard decisions that I can't.

I always envisioned Tali as more of a fallower than a leader if you ask me; even though she led a team on Haestrom and is a member of the admiralty board, deep down, I still see a fallower inside her.  It reminds me of myself.  I think I can catch hints of it in conversations with Shepard, though im not sure.

I think that when you die, you'll be dead, and you won't even have memories to tali, you'll just be dead. Moving on.

Pursuing tali like a conquistador pursues the fountain of youth is moronic, but wading through life with your eyes closed is even more idiotic. You might find someone, you might not, but discounting that possibility is nihilistic to the extreme. Having "forever alone-FOREVER" as your baseline is a good way to be lonely the rest of your life. Think of tali, and have hope. Just not too much. A moderate amount.

You can both lead if the dance is combat. Or sex. Wow, those two things come out in tandem way too often.

Which is why you ask the resident bisexual to give you the obvious answer.
It depends on the couple. You don't need a leader all the time. I was just saying gender is irrelevant, and anyone who thinks otherwise has got some mental blocks somewhere. Hence: "nobody wears the trousers"

Sure you can! It just ends up with lots of crushed toes!

No biggie.

I wouldn't say that having a different way of thinking counts as "mental blocks".

Yeah of course it depends on the couple. I know that much. I'm saying for any relationship of mine, it'd be inappropriate for me to kiss their hand, or lead in a dance (even though I detest dancing and probably wouldn't do it unless trained properly). Of course other people can do what they want. All of what I was saying was directed at my relationships.

In this case, it does. That way of thinking precludes switch roles. If you don't like them, fair enough.
...but you can't dislodge a mental block just by pointing it out.

Hah, yeah. That's what I was saying all along.

Interestingly enough, I tend to be alone a lot in real-life.  Part of it is by choice.  I choose to have a bigger bubble of space than others for my own reasons.  The rest of it are outside factors I can't control.  Of course, it doesn't mean im anti-social or anything, im just more distant is all.  I wonder if Shepard was the same way?  It would be interesting if he too was more distant than others in his youth.

I must admit, though I don't say it out loud, I often feel a bit angry when somebody disagrees with me, even on matters of pure opinion.  It is a... troublesome habit.

Just be like me and admit that you hate almost everything. I love Tali:wub: though, naturally.
