I never saw that song as an angry one myself. More of a love song. I only mentioned Dust because it's depressing.

Hmm, thinking of Metallica though, Master of Puppets fits well in a Mass Effect sense (in general). Fade to Black could work too.

Lol. My theory on it (and also on the whole Garrus-Tali thing) is that the game designers like to see themselves as Garrus. After all the player writes Shepard, but they write Garrus. So naturally they made him irresistable to the ladies.

This author does as well.  Just spoke about the fan-fiction, and thought that it might be worth sharing.  Was posted earlier in the forum (in the 1500s, maybe), but it is absolutely incredible.

The story essentially is a novel in its length, and begins at the beginning of Mass Effect 2.  The author essentially writes the story of ME 2 in its original form, but adds different dialogue and greater depth to the characters and interactions, and the building of the relationship between Tali and Shepard.  The sheer detail put into the scenes, the character depth involved, and the emotions that it invoked were done by few other books that I've read, and found that I actually wanted to read the story more than play the game to find out what happened next. 

The author has a sequel (far shorter in length that covers the events of the Shadow Broker), and is now working on a third installment that is covering Mass Effect 3 (with several noticeable changes, formost being the introduction lacking a certain "Star Child").  He is great at what he is doing, and they are definately worth a read!

Was only intending to read a few chapters here and there to get a feel of it.... ended up reading the entire dang thing last night - very well-written and great chararctization, would make for a great ME novelization if there ever was one (and admittedly, I'm now slightly disappointed that Tali's appearance in ME3 doesn't match the one described in "Razor's Edge").

Looking forward to later chapters of his version of ME3, "Requiem".
