I just finished the Quarian-Geth conflict on my second playthrough; and after talking to Tali afterwards I picked up on something i missed before. Tali mentions that even though in a few years quarians will be able to live without their suits, they will probably still wear them due to the suits having become such a big part of their culture.
This seems like Bioware's way of having quarians still wear their suits in future games (since it is a big part of that races identity in the universe) while still having them keep their homeworld.
What do you guys think of this?

Well, Tali would probably be more comfortable in her suit. It must feel very exposed to even take off the mask and reveal your emotions to another person, so I can understand how it has become a part of their culture.TheWerdna wrote...

That was the only bad episode of TNG. That was his only poor showing as an actor in that entire series. TOS, on the other hand, is always pretty bad, and william shatner is awful.forthary wrote...
Is this the chapter where the interrorgator turns on a set of 4 lights and asks Tali'Zorah, "Tell me...How many lights do you see?"Terrorize69 wrote...

This at least makes sense. The quarians will still need their suits, no matter what, whether it be for the geth to boost their immune system to the point where they can live without suits on other worlds, for tradition, and for space-walking. I will love seeing Tali'Zorah in typical quarian clothing, but i'll also love that suit of hers, that fabric is something else...

This got me thinking...
Trust is really involved in the Tali/Shepard relationship. It seems very precarious.... one wrong move, and the relationship could be torn apart.
Tali really puts a lot on trust... like it's the most important quality for her, and the level of her trust for Shepard can even fall into the blind trust category, as evidenced on Freedom's Progress. What causes her to be this way? Why does she put so much merit on it?:wizard:

I think a lot of it has to do with their culture. The Quarians need to trust in one another to make sure everyone surives. So I'm sure the ideal of Trust is very important to them. Also, I think it has something to do with her relationship with her Father. We don't know her whole past, but I'm sure her Father would promise her stuff and have to break them because of Duty.
You know, like...Tali I know I was going to take you to the engine room and show you how to build a mass effect drive from a box of pencils, but I have to handle this issue with work and so on. So her father broke a lot of trust with her so she looks for someone who she can trust in, which is Shepard. The one thing she never really had with her Dad.

I feel like Tali's father was very reliable, to the point of being above reproach. The thing is, he was rather distant and focused on his goals. He loved her, and that love could be said to be very tied up in trust, considering how obsessive he was about getting Tali a homeworld... He was a trustworthy man... but he doesn't seem particularly friendly, socially. He may be the cause for Tali's standalone nature which is apparent when her beliefs are put into testing ground.
