Yeah it does.  Doesn't bother me too much though.  Tali's legendary "I reach for you" line followed by Shepard's lackadaisical "thanks" was just horrendous. lol

Yes!  Somebody who gets it.  It's like Shepard just didn't care.

It really does come across that way.  It's like they forgot to record dialogue for that spot, and they just cut and pasted a generic Shepard sound bite from somewhere else to fill in the gap.  There are a couple of moments like that.

*hangs head in shame, seeking comfort from tali. gets none*

What would tali enjoy about the 90s?

  Oh my goodness...  When Shepard first gets onto the Normandy.  "Welcome aboard, Shepard."  "...Thanks."  I knew something was odd about that romance scene.  Cut & pasted, I see.

The original Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, Batman, Spider-Man, X-Men animated series? Windows 3.1/95? Things were good. But I should stop myself before I stray too far off topic...

Early 90s computer games = WIN :D

Tali Tune Time

Right the 90s. Now I am aware the 60s-80s have been rock based so am going to shift gears and drop some Trip-Hop on you.

The 90s Tali Tune is reflective of the fact that Tali is our Angel.

*Snip*

It would be cool if designed a slow-fall device like in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, except that in addition to a energy field that slows her fall rate, it also displays wings on her back that are the same color as her omni-tool.  It would be a really unique thing to see...

Hard to say.  Would need the mind of a girl.

Ah, 1994. I was 5 years old at the time. I miss the 90s so much.

I was 12 for most of it, 13 for the last bit. Image IPB I went to highschool (Dutch secondary education) this year.

EDIT: Of course, the page we're all waiting for is 2161. You should know why. Image IPB

But do you think she'd enjoy the music? the fashion? the culture of the 90s? the entertainment on the telly? you don't need the mind of a girl for that...

I don't know. Tali might enjoy bubblegum pop. Might not. The TV commercials were charming, though. I miss the jingles. Big Red, for example.

@Baz - The Sega Megadrive :D

@Forthary - That would indeed be very cool. Why should the biotics have all the levitating fun?

Right, I must go to bed. Got to be up in 5 hours. Try not to get past the Noughties!

Rumor has it it'll involve tongues and a form of pleasurable torture.

OK dude... the first part... ok... In each others mouths.... ok.... I'm defintly up for that!

Second part... What The ****?

I think I messed up what I was going to say:

Tongues will be involved in the pleasurable torture.  Then again, it may not be torture if its pleasurable, now is it?  Well, to me, it would be torture, but to you...

Hey Ryuji, this gem was released in 1995. I love the old school sound from those 303s. Trance has come a long way.

I feel like drawing Tali again. Is there a particular scene you guys would like to see? I'm thinking about giving the love scene a shot, a maskless version of when she says "whenever you need me," but I'm always open to suggestions.

Well this isn't from the 90's, but with the switch going on from that last tune.. my Shepards tune for his Tali is this one... Image IPB

I love the Rannoch-like sunset and the picture pose is like a nice reference to Tali doing the same as she picks out her house. Image IPB

Considering you're kinda getting back into all this "drawing" stuff...
Perhaps a shot of her unmasked face while she's biting into some good food for the first time?
And I mean really good, like the sort that would make you want to eat it all at once to cram all the flavour, while also not eating it at all, so you can eat it some other time. And you haven't been stuck with bland nutrient paste your whole life.
...and make it her first meal.
Basically, I'm saying - go overboard with the happy, in a simple pleasure kind of way. Not a lusty way, or a "...keelah... we came so close to all dying" way.

If you want to, that is.

We have already discussed what would we do: save the galaxy or save tali. What would tali do? Save the fleet, or save shepard?

I will answer  your question with a  question of  my very own..

is the galaxy worth saving with out  Tali or  is the Tali worth Saving with out  the Galaxy?

I'll answer them both sincerely.

1) Yes, the galaxy is worth saving - but not worth living in. There are billions, possibly trillions of other people out there. If you can't be happy, win their happiness. Then gracefully depart. Rejoin the one you love.
2) If it's just Tali? Spending the time alive rather than dead would probably be worse. If it's the entire squad, plus noteworthy crew like Joker, Chakwas, Adams, Gabby and Ken in stasis pods (except EDI, who just turns herself off - as to how you'd bury the Normandy so Reapers can't find it though...) then there's hope for the cycle after - at least...
But not for that house. :(

To you first  answer you are right but  we must go deeper(Inception Bong)   See  Tali would never want Shepard to live his like life like that... so him being drowned in despression is more dishonoring her memory than anything else... This of moving foward is from this is another conversation  in of itself.

To you second answer...interesting.

I'll just say that the 80's had a lot more going for them than the 90's.
