Drowned in depression? I was going for more of a kind of emo!Javik thing.
Drowning yourself in the mission, single-mindedly saving the galaxy.
And then accepting the black.

I wouldn't say Javik is emo in the least. Imagine losing all your friends and family, that's pretty hard to live with itself. He's lost all of that, including his species and entire culture. That's devastating, for anyone. I'd say his reaction is pretty justifiable.

yeah its the same thing and worst accepting the black is a problem...

Tali would not want that ... what she would want is for you is to live... which was my point about dishonoring the memory.

The point being the people romanticize death a little too much....

Yeah, I'd have to say I'd save the galaxy over Tali. The other way around and you end up with absolutely nothing. Or in the "perfect world" everyone else dies and you're the only two living, you end up living like cave-people because all of the logistical chains that hold society together as we know it are gone. So... you slowly starve or get eaten by varren. Fun.

Yeah, life is harder than death, but it's also a gender issue. Men are psychologically less equipped (generally) than their female counterparts. Case in point are the statistics that show that in elderly couples when one spouse dies, the lifespan of the survivor depends highly on gender. The female party/wife can go on living for decades afterwards, while the male/husband is much more likely to die within the following few months/years.

Shepard is young enough though. I think Tali would want him to move on and live his life.

You don't put that kind of paragraph long summation into an exclamation point personality version summation.
emo!Javik works better than "enduredpainandsufferingthelikesofwhichyou'llneverknowandkeepsfightingregardless!Javik"
...and that was significantly shortened.

EmoJavik so overrated... would have much prefered him to the Catalyst.

WAIT... why are talking about Javik in the Tali thread.

It was pretty vague. The reaction was stranger. But my point still stands: emo!Javik doesn't fit. In fact, I'd say the long-winded version sounds better, since "emo" refers to spoiled children with first world problems.

Keelah, there better be some damn dialogue. What is the point of spending three or more months on a slideshow.

I find it odd you create a group after you are threatened to be kicked out of the official Tali thread's one.

Only one page during the hour I was gone? I'm disappointed. Now it'll be up to the Asian/Australian shift to get us to 2000. I'm betting we won't get there before the European shift wakes up.

I can't. I have no faith in BioWare, and I know they won't give us something half decent.

In other news....

Quality > Quantity, no matter how many pages we got.

Speaking of which, would a cloaking device be a effective way for Tali to become invisible, or would the light her mask gives off decrease the effectiveness of it greatly?

Some flycam stuff I uploaded to DA. Should be some better stuff as I go through her romance. I can tell her writer absolutely loves her.

Tactical cloak seems to work fine for quarian infiltrators in the MP.

Well, at least BioWare still used the dialogue wheel back in ME1/2. It appeared in ME3 like what, 10 times? :P

This is true but DA2 had a ton of companion dialogue and the fans really ate it up. The ME team might learn from that. It would have been hard to do in ME2 since you had 12 people you'd need to call back.

I think the lack of dialogue in the previous ME DLC is more of a financial thing, in that they didn't want to pay to get all of the voice actors back. The only ME DLC that does have squadmate dialog is Javik, further disproving the "we developed it after the game, really" claims.

Hopefully they'll realize that this ending thing is important enough to warrant bringing back the VAs.

Mark of the Assassin DLC for DA2 wasn't that bad.

But it's a damn shame it wasn't in the main game first...

It just seemed good because the rest of that game was soooo bad.
