I disagree. ME2's combat was perfect in my experience. However, I've only played as soldier and engineer.

Sentinel with energy drain = too damn easy. It's wierd how the whole ME series has pretty poor combat, controls, and action, but is still so amazing. Bioware made some damned good characters in the first game. Shame they couldn't make an ending as good as tali is a character.Nkromelow wrote...

Meh, the first one had clunky but workable combat. The second was more revolutionary, while the third was...meh. Could have been much better. But in all 3 games, the AI was horrible. I thought it was funny seeing them get stuck behind doors, only for them to reappear in places that would otherwise be impossible. It's especially funny for Tali, as I could see Shepard run away from her, and then when he turns a corner, Tali's there, and he has the best guilty look on his face.
Tali: "And where do you think your going, Shepard?"
Shepard: "Well...how did you..."
Tali: "It's a secret taught to those who pass their pilgrimage. Now, get back in that store and help me pick out some curtains for our house!" *Drags Shepard by the ear back to the store*

Part of me actually would love to hear Tali say that when the squad comes under attack. "This is my boomstick." in that wonderful voice of hers.
Excuse plot it if she is Shepard's LI can just claim they have been watching Earth films in the captain's quarters.

I don't know, I absolutely detested ME2's combat. It was so sluggish and clunky, I just feel like that Bioware doesn't know how make a good shooter. Took them three games to make one that was decent.
EDIT: Look, it's 1999. You know what that means.

Why would Shep be running away?
I mean yeah, shoppin for curtains isn't exactly fun, but it's for the new house/Cabin on the Normandy.
Besides, that's what the infiltrator's cloak is for.

Nicely drawn, but she looks too young. Noticed that in this person's drawings. Seems like Tali is always tiny compared to Shepard. Kinda bugs me, actually.
