I disagree completely. That game was a significant disappointment. The combat was actually WORSE than in ME3, and even clunkier than ME1. The characters are alright, but the story makes everything seem just disjointed enough that you can't make an attatchment to anything. The only really good thing is that game is :morrigan disapproves -10: every 30 seconds.

Also, it has no tali content. Boo.

Well i disagree with you! I loved the story! Yes, the combat was a bit naff, but i enjoyed it.

and it may not have tali, but it had gerrel...and xen! and wrex/grunt

Writing Talis scene in ch13 is taking... a long time lol, every line keeps distracting me

I don't think a game has to have Tali in order to be good.
I also don't think a game has to have conventional combat in order to be good.
Dragon Age combat is similar to RTS combat I think, and I'm fine with it.

I agree - While good there was nothing  overly specaily about it or it story it was rather a very good generic fantasy game.  Nothing about  stood out and the Combat was horridenous... 

The Battle ends while there is a moving into position  message on my screen and how do make two-handed sword school of combat...boring. 

I would rather recommend Persona 3  and 4 much more interesting stories with a far more instersting cast with a better socail interaction system and this was a PS2 game.

Not having Tali in the game is a downer. I'm finding that at the moment with all the various games I haven't gotten around to playing yet (another reason I haven't
purchased DAO). Bioshock 2, No Tali. Deus Ex, no Tali, Shogun Total War, No Tali. Damn. Even games I have played but not completed like Skyrim (I still need to do the civil war and can't be bothered because No Tali), L.A. Noire (got bored after the Black Dahlia arc, and no Tali) and some others.

*sigh* I'll get over it. At least once Bioware gives me SOME DAMN CLOSURE YOU BOSH'TETS!

@Baz - Aha! Then I will never have that problem since I heard DA2 sucks!

I liked Dragon Age: Origins a lot and more than Dragon Age 2, hopefully number 3 goes in the right direction so I will be inclined to play it as I have enjoyed the series mostly.

This is, unfortunately, closer to the truth than you think.  Also, the middle dialog option was COMPLETELY removed.  I don't know about you guys, but that annoyed me.  And yet, if the ending had been good, I would never have picked apart the game's flaws.

Games don't need tali content, but it always helps.
Combat isn't everything, but the video game is about a freaking war, so the combat should be at least workable. It was so painfully boring and repetitive. A bit like ME3, but MORE repetitive, and so exceedingly slow and about as elegant as a midget fighting a kangaroo.

By lacking content of Tali, do you mean that you have not experienced a game/series that has created such a perfect ideal woman who isn't oversexified besides the Mass Effect series? I would be inclined to agree with you if that is the case.

There is a Tali suit/armour mod for Skyrim, however it lacks the mask.

I've been saying that for a while. Since the ending shattered my suspension of disbelief I've found more and more flaws and holes in the entire series. It's sad.

Lol. True. Wouldn't be the same though. They actually have put her outfit in Skyrim, which is cool. But truth is I don't really want Tali in Skyrim. I just want my closure. Then I'll feel more like slaughtering some Stormcloaks (I'm a Khajit, so seems to make more sense then supporting them).

I was doing really well in skyrim. I was level 49, had only the civil war, act 3 of the main quest and some side missions left to do, when framerate beat me. It caused the game to crash, and when i reloaded, i had to do the previous mission all over again. So me and my wood elf said stuff it, we'll do it another day, when framerate isn't such an issue
