I have the ps3 version. I don't particularly like pc gaming

No - I did not mind DA 2 but  after it  the Dragon Age Series  as a whole is a series the lacks any kind of indenity of its own. It  does not what it wants to be, it does not know what it is, nothing about stands out to make want to play it over a Skyrim, Dark Souls,  or  anyother game that fall under the gerne of fantasy.   

Then you  and me are of the same  mind... it takes a lot for me not to like something...

Man Merrill and Isabella...two of the reasons I would go back and play that game again.

I thought I would like Merrill, but I didn't. The blood mage thing was off-putting for me. I like to redeem people, but even I don't play nice with demons. Morrigan is my Dragon Age sweetheart. I like Leliana's nice girl personality, but I get to redeem Morrigan through love. I'm a sucker for that kind of thing.

I hated Merill, everything I did she disapproved and I think I had Max Rivalry with her by the end of the game. At least, me and Tali get on well...

i see my computer is way to over powered for what i use it for but tali looks awesom on a 55 inch flat screen tv

Apparantly, DA3s world is gonna skyrim inspired. i.e sandbox

that can be good and bad just hope they dont try to do to much and end up making another DA2.

I enjoyed Merrill but this guy was the only good companion in DA2.


Merrill came off as an idiot and never learned anything over the span of the game.

Everyone loved me.

Anders was hard to gain friendship with though. We were getting on so well, and then he tried to hit on me. So i rejected him and then he had a massive chip on her shoulder for a time


edit: i tell lies. Fenris wasn't a fan. He went and helped the templars. Until the end, when i managed to persuade him to rejoin me.

Tali is a very unique character honestly.

I haven't seen games with that kind of personality + an alien.

Unless it's in a game I haven't tried.


Some might say she's similar to Merril in DA2 but I wouldn't agree to it.

The only exception that they are both scared of spiders.

Dat Chest Hair,  not even the Reapers would be  to stop  Varric he convince them  that is sorely not profitable for them to  continue the cycle and leave.

I don't thing I ever encountered a good Blood Mage during the game, what happened to Hawke's Mother made it worse.

Merrill =/= Tali that is just a bad comparison.

in anyway... Tali is more like Winery from FMA/FMA Brotherhood than anything else.

I didn't think that I would like Isabela. The preview materials made her look like an unlikable, selfish sexpot. But I thought she was actually kind of cute. Taking the "love" route of her romance brought about a similar sort of satisfaction as with Morrigan.

I think there are similarities between merrill and Tali. They both have an innocence about them, for one. But i wouldn't liken them to eachother.

They're really not. Merrill is more like liara in ME1.
