First of all, S/S Needs to stay out of this thread I don't care what you have to say about it. It would be mockery to most of the characters to have them suddenly become...Gay.. I guess imagine Male Shepard walking up to Kaiden to talk to him after recruitment the conversation starts flowing towards how he is a homosexual.

So what? One to 4 Months IF that and Kaiden is now gay, Probably longer since ME1.

I just want it dropped about S/S Romances. And Isaac is standing up for himself about a topic that should've never started which I partly respect. But as you see this is the Tali thread and I bid you Good Day.

Tali's Boot Knife for Squad mate and LI in ME3, Sharp Love.
Did I mention that Tali has a shotgun?

I would have a Brain Riot if Tali's character structure was destroyed by an incident like this of her being permanently Lesbo.

Hmm I am not so sure about showing Tali's face, I know they're going to show it though... Just a feelin' =P However they make her look it's going to be good. But we've all got our own idea on what we think she looks like and I just think whatever they make her look like I think will leave some of us disappointed. But hey that's just me. =P

The acids you are getting confused with are amino acids, and refer to the types of biochemistry that compromise all life.  Most forms of life on Earth, as we know it, are Levo protien and Dextro sugars based.  Mass Effect has woven into it's story what is merely a purely Hypothetical idea of alien species - the biology of turians and quarians are made of amino acids compromising of dextro proteins and levo sugars.

Given how long Mass Effect has been around I thought most people were aware of this by now.

Not to be an ass or anything but if I am not mistaken Tali is getting promoted to Fleet Admiral in ME3 she might be on the team in the beginning but she wont be there end game. Thats at least my Opinion which is based on events in ME2. If you made the correct choices the Quarians should assist with the war against the Reapers.

Are you kidding me? I still have to remind people of what happened in ME1 because they forgot apparently. People dont pay attention.

Technically Turian and Quarian food can kill Humans, Krogan, Salarians, Asari... and the same is true vice versa... sometimes I am shocked at people. That is also true for physiology. In one graphic novel a Turian needed a blood transfusion in a medical clinic and the nurse accidentally gave him Salarian blood. He died on the spot. I dont know how that mistake could be made though... oxygenated Turian blood is blue and oxygenated Salarian blood is red. Weird....

If people really liked Tali they would not support her as a love interest because a relationship with Shep could in fact kill her. This goes beyond just Quarian "weak" immune systems. True she would get sick but in addition any fluid exchange between the two could fatally poison Tali and Shep as well. Its all theory but the basis of it is from a conversation you overhear in the bar on Illium called Eternity. I beleive it is also brought up in one of the books as well. I also put "weak" immune system in quotes because Quarians have a symbiotic immune system.... that just happens to be weakened in addition. Back on the Quarian home world viruses were partially benefitial to the Quarians.

Feel the same, this is my fav taliart. some say it makes her look too human i disagree. She has six fingers and six toes and other features humans do not possess, i think it would be a good balance if her face is more 'human' than others.

I am no expert on the subject (I KNOW NOTHING) but I thought that in some cases, Dexto-DNA based food products could pass through a Levo-DNA system, and vice versa, without doing anything.

I base this off of the fact that there are sugars available now that are Dextro-DNA. They provide the sugaring flavor of normal sugar, but because of the Dextro designation, no nutrients from it are absorbed by the body at all simply because it cannot be absorbed at all.

Not gonna happen.... Tali's too young and too low in rank to be considered for a Fleet Admiral position on the Admiralty Board (she's not even a Captain of a ship); she said that only a few individuals suggested that she should replace her father's seat on the Admiralty Board (which was most likely put out there due to her popularity among the Quarians), but it also takes a long time for one to become an Admiral.

Its a play in the ME universe for fragility and making a dividing line between the two sides. Mordin himself claims that Humans have a higher probability to be different, so that said the human race could be more prone to accepting different things in game. But also to quote Mordin, there are "too many Variables."

As far as Tali is concerned, I feel that she's a very potent character in the game and am glad to see her returning as a squadmate. I've always felt that her metaphor was more humanizing than the majority of the human characters themselves; Jack being an introverted power hungry nightmare, and Miranda being a person who believed she was doing right all along then had a "cheerleader" moement where she realizes that she's become a "adult film star."

Tali herself is powerful in the fact that you never see her face, and you have to like who she is, to like her as a character; its also a powerful play at the, "its what's on the inside that counts," mantra

Actually it's been talked about on the Flotilla, that she's been considered.

Since she sounds Russian to me I'd kinda prefer a more Milla Jovovich look to "Toe-thumbs"
