Quarian anatomy isn't all THAT different though. If you think about it:
Asari are awfully adaptive and strong willed.
Salarians are very smart.
Turians are very adept in combat and discipline.

Then we have Quarians, not as highly adaptive with their immune system due to lack of insect life on their homeworlds, but other than that they are pretty much like us, they have the metabolism more suited for Turians, but in overall, their body is more human than other species.

I'm not counting Krogan into this because by the time they were needed the Krogan were not ready for Spacefaring. Salarians adapted them into space combat against the Rachni.

BTW nice to be back and while I was gone only 20 pages done ? not even going to skip if what I read on this page is all that was around there as well :P

Well, Quarians have to look more alien then human of course. Their anatomy is so different then the Humans and Asari. The Turians and Salarians are a good example of just how different species can appear, I hope BW follows those guild lines for the Quarians along with their homeworlds effect on their biology.

I agree with you but , do you ever pick a Salarian o Turian female LI Posted Image??
Because of this, for me , Tali face must be a 50-50 % alien-human look or a 55-45% but no more.

Sorry for my disgusting english Posted Image

I'll just be happy if i get to see Tali's face. If not, i don't think i will care since i am not one to dwelve on matters i cannot change, and are insignificant.

The people complaining about her looking too human are just kind of out of luck.

We've seen everything except her face. What we've seen shows us a body form that is very human-like. Their suits don't leave a great deal to the imagination. Their form, except for minor differences, is very human like. Even if their faces were completely unrecognizeable as faces, they'd still, by default, be very human-like due to what has already been seen.

I think that they got the right balance with drell: a humanoid body, but they look alien enough without being too different from humans to still be appealing.

As such, I wish for the quarians to have a nice middleground, Alien enough so we don't have another human species... (humans, batarians, asari all look alike when fully suited up) yet human enough so that we can relate to them. Drell represent this perfectly.

And like I said, it was astronomically unlikely that life would be here, yet here we are. And yes while the lack of insects, less water, perhaps hotter temperatures would change evolutionary paths. That doesn't mean thier face would have tentacles coming out, where the eyes should be. The structure of the head and then face, would depend on a number of things besides those conditions, like brain size, predation, olfactory system etc. It could lead them right back on to a similar evolutionary path. Not being from Earth doesn't mean that's its impossible for things like the Asari to exist, look at Turians, they are very similar to birds. But like I said before, regardless, they don't need to prove she's an alien, I can already see she's not human since their legs bend in the wrong direction.

Wow so do I. If they are really compelled to show her face I'd be quite happy with this.

Actually I think it's my favourite concept so far.

Thats a really nice drawing...

-Downloaded education vid, "Human Courtship and Mating"
-Installed suit application, Immunoboost:Professional Edition
-Reinstalled suit application, Nerve-Stim Pro:Deluxe Edition

So she installed the inmunoboost application and then reinstalled the "masturbation" program again? what the hell does that mean? is she that hot that after being with Shep she needs to vibrate in her suit more?

I don`t get it xD

Now this is just me, but in my opinion it really sucks that you can't marry Tali in ME3.

She installed the booster as part of her preparations for sex with Shepard. The upgraded 'assistance' program is there to satisfy a now well and truly awakened libido.

I think the nerve program isn't just for her. Me thinks its used when they want to umm lets say play so tali can have fun with shep without the hassle of getting sick.

yeah but she gets that (and also does the check on human courtship) even if your shepard doesnt romances her, so yeah she's a covert pervert, though I think its cute she also downloaded fleet and flotilla

Lots of people say shepard shouldn't date or have sex with tali because she's too vulnerable and its too dangerous. I think tali is a adult and seems to have done her research on human bonding, she is aware of the risks. Tired of some people treating tali like a sickly child.....she has a shotgun and no fear.

Covert pervert nothing, she's a young woman with n active sex drive who's attracted to her heroic commander. The fact that she's unable to even masturbate without technological assistance just adds to the tragedy of the quarian people.

As for the whole question of marriage, I really don't see it happening, no matter how much your Shepard may want it. The quarians are an insular people, and sadly, they're going to be stuck as pariahs for a while yet, so I doubt that earth is going to be in any hurry to acknowledge their big damned hero wanting to marry a filthy vagrant bucket.

I can from a reality stand point see a tali/shep marriage as a no go too. I can totally see him trying to convince the board to allow their marrage.

Shep: It's OK admiralty board I'm so great a catch for Tali! I use to work for Cerberus, they're now trying to kill me. The reapers want to kill me. I just started a war with the Batarians, I have a propensity to get shot at wherever I go. I have every merc in the galaxy hating me. I know how to blow up relays, we can't eat the same foods, we can't contribute to the repopulation of Rannoch, things always explode around me, I only give her a running nose when she's out of her suit, and I'm an in name only spector running from treason chargers I'm so great so what do you think can we marry and link suits now?

Really how's he suppose to sell himself for that?

We also know thanks to fleet and flotilla dextro/dextro relationships are more preferred then amino/dextro. There is also the political views of the Quarians in the galactic scale we also know the Quarians are weary of humans per the conversations of npc while you where on the flotilla they show they may not approve of shep and tali if word gets out but then again neither will the rest of the galaxy. There are just so many reasons why a shep/tali marrage would be a ****storm beyond Udina's ability to handle. While these two may love the idea the larger waves and societal issues it causes I could see Tali just pulling an Alister and saying we just can't be together anymore.

EDIT

Also her checking up on human customs could be her trying to analyze ken and gabby to see if they're doing a standard mating ritual for an unromanced or friend only tali doesn't mean she wants shep.
