Which is exactly what Legion did/would have done since he "saw no alternative" just like the Quarians seemed to. They were committed to war, a war which started centuries ago with the loss of their home (regardless of who started it). Calling Tali a racist is like calling the average NATO soldier a racist because they're fighting Arabs, it's like feeling guilty about spitting into the ocean. It's taking a flaw that by itself may be atrocious if it's in an isolated circumstance, and blowing it out of proportion in the face of a more complex issue. The Quarians and the Geth have been at war for centuries because they've been shooting at each other at every given opportunity. The galaxy has been at war with the Geth because they shoot each other at every opportunity.

Tali has her flaws, so what if she's "racist" against the Geth. If given the choice between saving fellow organics and saving a bunch of sentient toasters, what do you think I'd pick?

Everyone hates the geth because they are ignorant. Shepard and Tali and the entire admiralty board knows they want to make peace but because of the admiralty boards stupidity they decide against trying to have "talks" with the geth. And Legion made his choice out of self preservation...the geth would have never preemtpively attacked the quarians. The quarians attacked the geth leading to his desperation.

Tali did everything she could to prevent the war but couldnt. Again, you really think she would side wotht he geth? How can say killing millions of innocent people, children even, is something Tali would do? OBVIOUSLY she would side with her people.

Everybody in the ME setting hated the Geth. and the Geth where one of the reasons that AI research was banned. EDI had to play VI when the SR2 was being overhauled to prevent from being shut off.

That isn't how Quarians work. They live and die for the fleet. Not the good of a race that is there trying to kill them.

Right is Circumstantial and Subjective at best, and is a moot argument. Is it right to kill a spider who is about to bite you? Note this spider is venomous. Which is right? Killing it, or letting it bite you because it's life and life is sacred?

Both, depends who which side you're on. It was right for her people to kill the geth.

The geth arent even independant. They are also still useful after they are dead as their technology still exists. Plus, you are forgetting that only gerrel wanted to keep fighting. The geth also dont even have emotions, so the fact that you would side with them is disturbing.

you can't 'kill' a machine, machines break. They are not alive, they have simply been upgraded to the point of self awareness.

The geth didn't do a very good job of keeping that reputation by killing anyone who entered the perseus veil.

The admirals were ignorant, yes, but you can't call Tali racist for deciding to not execute her entire race.

Both, depends who which side you're on. It was right for her people to kill the geth.

It wasn't right for her people to kill the geth when they were completely defenseless. but I think we can agree to disagree and because of all of your perspectives I am redefining my own and realizing that she isnt completely racist, just the situation she was put in was extreme and therefore any decisions can be determined right or wrong given the right perspective. I came here to try and reaffirm my LI in tali and you guys have helped me somewhat its just such an extreme circumstance all of it can be up for debate

It's not disgusting, they are a people and Legion wants exactly what Tali wants; for their people to live in peace, but in most cases it's not possible. I still think the whole of the Quarians are being wronged for something Garrel pushed for,

I'm not okay with killing the geth. But if it comes down to a choice between wiping out the geth or the quarians (with no other possible solution), I will side with the quarians. Killing all those quarian civilians just because their ancestors made some mistakes and Gerrel's a war-hungry arse is just as wrong as killing the geth. But at least the geth could be rebuilt; the quarians are lost forever.

It's fortunately a decision I didn't have to make, as I achieved peace on my first playthrough.

i understand that now but we cant really take what the geth were doing in ME1 and translate it to now because the writers of ME definetly changed what they originally were going to do with the geth, so they went from being complete bad guys in me1 to try and make them a sympathetic race in me2 and me3 and i'm def done with this topic.

Okay so any way back to Tali stuff.

For the house, Quarian traditional(whatever that is) or try and mix human and quarian designs. So sort of a high tech victorian on the coast of Rannoch. classic Earth New England coastal home with quarian touches.
