I think the distinction isn't even all that relevant. If it was quarians vs. some other organic race, Tali would still side with the quarians because they are her people! Of course she wants peace first, but if that's not an option I can't believe she would ever choose to let her people die (and her reaction to the event in ME3 certainly backs that up).

Have you watched any Star Trek Voayger or TNG? Basically for the same reasons that the Doctor and Data are considered a person.

Does it really matter what the body is made out of? One is carbon-based, the other... whatever geth are made out of.
I think that as long as an entity can determine for itself what it wants to do, it is a "person". However, I think we can both agree that we, as a culture, haven't quite gotten to the point we can decide. More Tali, no?

Because quarians don't require blood to survive, that idea alone is just weird and entirely unsubstantiated.

In the second place, if Shepard were to become physically intimate with Tali, he needs that blood to maintain his stamina...

And in the third place, bloodstains make cloth and other fabrics a mess.  I don't think Shepard would like it if he had to keep changing his bedsheets because he kept bleeding out on them.

I think she may like it, unless of course her house is going to be sucked up by a tornado or blown away by a hurricane.  Then its going to get bad as Shepard has to sit in the dark with no power, no lights, and worse of all, no air conditioning.  He'll be dying of heat in just his underwear.

We've got around 5 litres each, I can spare some. And roboshep heals like a freaking roach from SC2.

But the whole vampire thing is based on the crazy hypothetical situation where tali is infected with some sort of apparently non communicable retrovirus that alters her red blood cells to stop making their own haemoglobin, but recycle it from digested tissue. So yeah. Lots of hypotheticals.
