Okay, this is really off topic but...

Funniest thread ever... and it makes so much sense (about endings)

That comment about the year in which Tali was born makes me sad I'll never live to see it. 2169... bit out of range. :(

In Mass Effect, first human move towards space expansion was when the first moon colony was stablished in 2069. If I'm still alive in 2069 and that really happens I think I'll just shoot myself in frustration.

Makes me sad when space science and science in general gets sloppy seconds at budgets in the western world.

I cannot imagine what would be more important than health care, NASA and education for us.

Makes me wonder how many Tali, Liara, Garrus, and Thanemancers are in it for the xeno appeal.

Not me. I just find it irrelevant. <3

I think I'm into Tali for the adorable-appeal :P

I agree with them, personally. Making sure people don't die has to beat exploring our solar system. It's not like we're going to make an FTL breakthrough anytime soon.

Bah!  We're doing nothing but going back in the past now.  The odds of our planet organizing a decent space program that'll help us find life outside earth in our lifetimes are more slim than a quarian's waistline.  But, I suppose things could be worse.

If your out there Tali, don't fret.  One of these days, alive or dead, we'll get to meet your kind if it exists out there...

I'd put education higher up than welfare, the ammount of dumb****s here is way too high.
Welfare is ok up to a point. When it's a widely available freebie that is exploited, something needs to be changed.

building a space program that is capable of interstellar travel will take time of course and piles of money. Now we cannot convince congress to fund it so we can go find Tali... we have to speak their language.

Tell them that Wikileaks has a secret hosting center in Alpha Centauri, we will have warp drives by the end of the year.

From the incredibly deep message that the ending sends, she would learn that:

Long ago, in 1789, George Lincoln was forced to invent the nuke by the
**** zombies. The **** zombies used the nukes to destroy Pearl Harbor.
Thousands of Spartans died. This caused the Spartan revolution. The
Spartans won the war because they invented the wheel, which was used to
build spaceships. With their spaceships the spartans flew to planet X,
but their spaceships were finally blown up by the Russian space center,
controlled by the Spanish.

Yep. That just happened. Does anybody want more terribly skewed incorrect history?
