ME2 suit had much higher resolution so I'm biased towards it.
You know what would be interesting?
If whether or not she got exiled changes what her suit looks like. I could see an exiled Tali deviate from the Quarian norm, wearing more armor, maybe a stealth system...
Anyone else have any ideas?

Stealth Tali going around stabbing people with her boot knife/point blank shotgun blast in ME3? I'd be happy with that.

She should have a knife throw ability. It could bypass shields and stab enemies in the face.

Since it is unlikely that Tali would get a completely new suit since she only just got a new one, I think it would make more sense her to be wearing a modified version of the ME2 suit in ME3. The decorative cloth parts of the suit could be easily modified, and armor could be added. As such I expect the suit to be mostly the same as it was in ME2,but with more armor (since the game take place in the middle of a war it would make sense) and changes to the docrotive or cloth parts of the suit.

I still think there is room for a new suit when we get Rannoch back whose to say she won't either be given one or will buy one just for that?

If we visit the Flotilla in ME3 (which I think is very likely), maybe we can pick up a new suit for her there too? Tali's suit went through a lot of abuse in ME2 I'm sure.

Of course, it should be optional, especially since many of us enjoy her ME2 look.

I got this from NuclearBuddha, he wrote this and it is sooo awsome that every Tailimancer should read it

i asked him if i could post it here, and he said it was OK
I take absolutly no credit for any of it, but its should come to light for everyone to see

it's Kinda long, But trust me YOU WILL ENJOY IT.

Tali: *pacing nervously* Oooohhh... We're going to make the jump to Ilos any minute...

Ashley: Hey. Seen the commander?

Tali: No, I'm waiting for him myself... I... I wanted to talk...

Ashley: *scowling* Yeah, good luck with that. *leaves*

Tali: Okay. Okay, you can do this. He'll head to his cabin, and you'll just stop him and ask to talk...

*minutes pass*

Tali: Did... did I already miss him?

*meanwhile, inside cabin*

Liara: Shepard, may I speak with you?

Shepard: *looks surprised to see Liara* ...I was... just thinking about you...

---

Tali: Shepard! Do you have a minute?

Shepard: Sorry, Tali, I've got to get up to the CIC. We're about to reach Alchera.

Tali: But Navigator Pressly...

Shepard: I'd like to be there myself. Several ships have disappeared in this system already.

Tali: Oh... well...

Shepard: Don't worry, I promise I'll make the time later. I've been meaning to talk to you about some things, too.

---

Tali: *hoping beyond hope* Oh! Of... of course. Any time!

*Shepard nods, then heads for the CIC*

Adams: Don't worry, Tali. The commander knows a good thing when he sees one.

Tali: What? Oh... I, uh... It's nothing!

Adams: *shrugs* The Normandy could use you full-time is all I'm saying.

---

Garrus: Aren't you supposed to be in engineering?

Shepard: Yeah, bad timing.

Garrus: You were supposed to go through with it this time.

Shepard: I know, I just kind of lost my nerve. She's a quarian, and there's the suit thing, and she's got to go home...

Garrus: *shakes his head* Get back down there.

*ship shudders under first Collector attack*

Shepard: What the hell?

---

*ship goes to red alert*

Liara: Shepard! What's going on? Is this what you wanted me for?

Shepard: *oh god, the timing!* I'm sorry Liara, now isn't the time. You need to get to safety.

Liara: *following him to the CIC* But you've been so distant lately...

---

*Later, on the lifepod.*

Tali: *sobbing quietly* No... no...

Liara: *also wiping her eyes* It's... It will be alright, Tali. The Migrant Fleet can't hold this against you, can it? You can still go back to the Flotilla and complete your pilgrimage.

Tali: *sobs even louder*

Wrex: *to Liara* For a scientist, you're not very bright.

---

Liara: *still watery-eyed herself* I don't understand what's gotten into Tali.

Ashley: *scowling, almost furious* Maybe someday you will.

Liara: Was it something I said?

---

Dr. Chakwas: Tali'Zorah, I didn't have time to grab much before evacuating, but I did get these.

Tali: *sniffling* I'm sorry, Doctor, what?

Dr. Chakwas: The boosted antibiotics you requested. Remember?

Tali: *devastated* Oh... oh... keelah...

Dr. Chakwas: I made sure to get them before I evacuated. When you asked for them it sounded very important.

Tali: *starts sobbing all over again.*

---

Garrus: *awkwardly pats Tali's shoulder* There, there. C'mon, Tali, don't cry. Shepard... he...

Tali: *agonizing wistfulness in her voice* Shepard? He...?

Garrus: He... uh... he wouldn't... uh, want to see you crying...?

---

I posted this as a joke, and to torment the Tali Thread graveyard shift. It was fun, though, so I saved it (and added one more little snippet). For the record, I don't believe in this situation. Whatever she felt for Shep in ME1 was unrealized: just a crush or hero-worship or something. It only really bloomed in ME2. You can read the thread reactions starting here (and they're almost more fun than the mini-fic itself!).

---

*at the funeral*

Tali: *barely holding it together* Why did I wait? Why why why? Now I'll never...

Kaidan: Tali, you're holding up pretty well. *considers* Though, I guess you and the Commander never were that close.

Tali: *bursts into tears*

---

Garrus: Hey, look, Tali, it's okay.

Tali: *still crying*

Garrus: Uh... I have to tell you... before the attack, well, Shepard... he...

Liara: *crying loudly* I shouldn't have left him there. He needed me!

Tali: *sobbing uncontrollably*

---

Wrex: Shut it, you blue round-heel.

Liara: *indignant* What?

Wrex: You know Shepard only slept with you because he wanted kids.

Tali: *wailing now* Oh, Keelah...

---

Joker: Will all of you just shut up?

Tali: *gasping for air* I... I'm sorry... I just...

Liara: I'm sorry, too, Jeff. I was just thinking that though I always knew my time with Shepard would be short, I didn't know just how short...

Tali: *breaks down all over again.*

---

Joker: *irritated* Alright, Tali, we get it, you're sad.

Tali: *struggling to control herself* I'm... *hiccough* sorry...

Joker: We all miss him.

Tali: Yes, yes we do.

Joker: Things suck without him. I'm grounded, Liara's go nobody to sleep with--

Liara: *offended* What?

Tali: *sniffles sadly*

Joker: Garrus lost his positive role model--

Garrus: *looks away, knowing it's true*

Joker: You're lucky: you've got the most happy memories to take away. He helped you with your pilgrimage, and now you get to go home.

Tali: But... but... *completely loses control*

---

*later, at the reception*

Garrus: *to himself* Spirits, what did you think you were doing?

*twists his paper plate in his talons furiously*

Garrus: What's the point in telling her now? This has almost destroyed her already.

Wrex: *pushes past Garrus in line* Move it, turian.

Garrus: *not listening* No, I'll keep my mouth shut from now on. She doesn't need to know that Shepard...

Tali: Garrus, you've been standing in front of the canapes for 10 minutes. Wait, did you say something about Shepard?

Garrus: *stares for a moment in surprise, then blurts* HE'S GONE!

Tali: *stunned, then walks away choking back tears*

Garrus: *facepalms* Dammit, Vakarian...

I noticed the quarian-esque feet after I punched a dude to the ground. Also, in the propoganda trailer, the hobo dancer had very quarian looking legs

I like the portrayal of Garrus in www.fanfiction.net/s/6049842/1/Razors_Edge, though the Tali romance in that one doesn't come until much later.

I prefer the romance in www.fanfiction.net/s/6009299/1/Adamo though. My opinion.

Both of them are long and well written.

This one is Pre-ME1 stuff by a guy I haven't seen on the thread for awhile...the story hasn't gotten up to the Tali romance yet.

I definitely don't regret Tali entering my virtual life. I have to say the Mass Effect series are among the best games I've ever picked up.

First post here, so bear with me :)

And instead of making random comments, I thought I'd start with a question regarding Tali. Or actually, 2 questions.

Wouldn`t the Flotilla consider Tali a stand-in Admiral? Since her father died and there`s been some talk about her following up for him. Also, she`s pretty much the only person with actual knowledge concerning the Reapers and the current Geth-situations (seeing they have Legion in their ranks and they`re apparently starting to open up the doors for possible negotiations).

It could also be possible they want Shepard to have a say about what happens in the upcoming war, seeing he`s pretty much the only entity out there that has lead a team (with a Quarian member) to destroy a Reaper.

Quarians are at least susceptible to logic I believe. They should be able to ignore the fact that they might not all like him, but they also realize that he alone is the most knowledgeable person concerning the Reapers. This way they still have a Quarian as admiral, one even with a history of parental admiralty in case people object, yet they still get the Reaper-killer to inform them and help them lead the Quarian race to survival.

And of course, if the war ends, Tali will have to step down due to her only being temporary. Actually, I expect all of them to step down because I believe there will be some harsh decisions to be made when it comes down to the Reapers - or the Geth.

And that brings me to another idea ...

What if the reason for the Rewrite/Destruction of the Heretics isn`t primarily meant to influence the Quarian/Geth relationship, but rather a plot to split the Geth in two camps: one that prefers rewriting if it allows them to live peacefully with the Quarians and another one that prefers destruction over being rewritten? That might divide the Geth, especially since they couldn`t come to a conclusion already on the Legion loyalty mission.

In order to tie that up to Tali again, if the Geth receive that info from Legion after the fight with Tali which Shepard broke up, it could be possible that it influences where the majority of the Geth will lean towards; rewriting with peace or destruction.

I don't think Tali id ready to become an Admiral;she is too young, but maybe Bioware has been thinking about this option , personally i hope not ; an engineer is not a political.
About the Geth , interesting point of view but i can't capable to answer , we have too less information about it .

I can see Tali becoming an.admiral, then immediately initiating a 5-0 vote to invoke the boards reserve powers and dismiss the current board so she can GTF out of there.

Tali being an Admiral doesn't really make since. Rank comes with experience and to get experience takes time. All the Admirals in the Flotilla are of proper age, Tali seems half their age. That whole "Some are considering me as a candidate" for fill the Admiral seat was just a 'in the moment' sorta thing. There's still other ranks out there for her that would still carry weight among others in and out of the military other than an Admiral.

In Tali's case I disagree, she was already nominated after the events with the trial, as she said.
In her case she may not have years of experience, but she has, thanks to Shepard, a lot of experience with the Geth, and she is more than loyal to the Flotilla. Tali was successful with the missions she was assigned to, She learned much under Shepard, and thus making her a valid addition as an Admiral. Question remains if she wants to be one or not.
