It's sad.  The good people are leaving.  But, I still got my Tali.

Heh, that reminds me, I kinda liked how they cued the music during their romance night to play the piano chords when Tali put her hand on Shepard.  The music wasted a lot of it's potental for their romance, but at least it's not totally wasted.  I wish I could somehow put together a montage of what they may have done using some mod to switch around the characters and put Tali in the other LI's romance nights.

Not a joke. My old cat that's been with me a looong time has had several false alarms in the past, once I even took him to the vet with a high consideration in putting him down, but it turned out he was fine. Today he lost bowel control and siezured. I had to put him down today. I buried him with the blanket on the chair he always sat on and the brush he loved since he was a kitten. He is 17 years old.

Actually, im not really liking what Shepard has planned for Tali in that picture...it reminds me of you and excel for some reason, and it's scary.

I'm sorry to hear that mate, I've had cats too (lots) and know the feel. Y'know, one of my cats liked to sleep inside the car's engine, he was still a young kitten, and one day when we turned it on he had a heart attack or something like that 
I'm glad yours lived 17 years, it's a damned good time for a cat/dog to live

Shepard's totally a winner.  But I dunno about that picture, it's nice to see Tali in blue, but im leaning more towards purple.  It would be nice to see a picture of Shepard giving Tali a massage of some sort.

The 2nd one I ever made and first I uploaded.
Some random one.
A Mass Effect one that has a fair amount of Tali.
One making fun of the ME3 endings and a brief amount of Tali. I was kinda lazy with that one.
A series I'm working on.
A subs milestone video I just uploaded today.

At first, when she said that, I had a big smile on my face as well, but then I realized that this shouldn't be possible.  How, you ask?

It's a bit of a sad story.  When I first romanced Tali'Zorah in ME2, I couldn't believe it.  I was in a bit of shock, so much that I actually had to think about it, unlike most people.  The main reason I thought of this was because of Tali's health; I did develop feelings of love for her over time in ME1, but what set me back was her health.  I wanted to feel her skin against mine just as she did, but if it was going to kill her or cause serious harm, I wouldn't want that to happen.  I eventually accepted Tali'Zorah's love and tried to find ways to help minimize the damage caused by inter-species contact with quarians.  The only thing I found was something about clean rooms, which I didn't understand much at the time.

Eventually, romance night came.  Tali stated she took a few immuno-boosters and such to boost her immune system, and she was definately nervous.  Then the question came: Should I have a physical encounter with her?  In the end, I decided to say no.  I felt that, at the time, Tali was unprepared for what she was about to face when it came to having a intimate encounter.  I thought that I could find a 'better' way for her, such as a clean room, and I knew that no matter what, I would do whatever it took to make sure she and I survived the suicide mission.  Plus, I thought there would be consequences for 'not waiting' in Mass Effect 3.  I was so wrong on so many levels that I felt bad.  There really wasn't anything I could do on my end to make for a safer encounter with her.  Plus, it was easy to survive the suicide mission if you did it right, and I was wrong to send Tali back to the normandy with what was left of my crew.  I treated her like a fragile flower, which while it is true to some degree, I was wrong to think that she couldn't hold out on her own.  And, of course, there were no consequences for having a romantic night with her in ME3.

The only possible explaination I can think of is that Shepard made up for not having an intimate encounter with Tali sometime after the collector base, but before he was thrown in jail.  But still...I'm not sure how Tali would feel about rejecting her for her health and overly protecting her.  While there is a small chance she might walk out on me, one thing that is certain is that her personality would be different than it is now.  Now that I know this though, things are different.  I am no longer afraid.  I will not let fear get the better of me for Tali.  We'll live together, we'll fight together, and if need be, we'll die together.

Stepped away for awhile but I noticed this.  Nothing wrong with that Fort you were looking out for her.
As a fellow Talimancer I don't mind giving some insight as to where my head was during that decision on my first ME2 run since you shared yours with us.

For me I was nervous about it as well when she first mentioned all the risks and complications.  I reasoned it out as "Ok, eventhough she isn't a doctor she definitely knows the Quarian body especially her own better than me.".  So i just put my faith in her that she knew what she was getting into. The other thought I had was if this is anything like ME1 its happening over months so it's not something she's rushing.  She's researching/preparing for weeks if not months before this all happens, so I know she must be taking every precaution she feels she needs.  By the end I was done thinking as the player when it came to that and definitely as my Shepard (I tend to flip between both when I play).  As the player I knew I was about to go in that base kick Collector tail and take some names.  As Shepard, not so much...I wasn't going in thinking of defeat but just that I don't know what's going to happen and when i thought back on Tali's conversation I think it's how she felt.  She probably would rather risk this one moment with me than to go in that base have something happen to either me or her and lose that chance.  So I just let it happen at that point either Id regret it or not; but I just didnt want to go in the base get screwed over and wish I had let it occur. Luckily it worked out. "sigh of relief"
