Tali is very well mannered. I bet quarian culture has a very defined kind of etiquette that is closely intertwined with old roots. Think Quarians have any special holidays? Like, for instance a day spent in- gloomy remembrance of how they were thrown from their homeworld lol

I agree and think they have a couple of holidays. I'm sure they have one where they do remember when they lost the homeworld. They celebrate it so that everyone remembers the events that happened and hopefully how to avoid these mistakes in the future.

I also think they have a captains day. Since captains seem to be very important in their culture. Also, I would like to think they have a ancestors day where they remember their ancestors and those lost to the greatest abyss called death.

Maybe Shep was one of those people who didn't want to admit they were gay even though they were never attracted to women, and simply thought that he hadn't met the right woman yet? If that's the case, then I can see what happened: even this gay Shepard must've realized that he could never top Tali, so if Tali didn't do it for him, no woman will.

Too bad the gay Kaidan romance was cut from ME1. It would've been interesting to see Kaidan's reaction to a gay Shepard going straight for Tali in ME2.

In just a few days (May 4th), it's the Dutch memorial day, on which all those who died in WW2 are remembered by the whole country (in theory, anyway) observing a 2 minute silence at 8pm. There is also a ceremony at the National Monument in Amsterdam. I wouldn't be surprised if the quarians have a similar remembrance for the morning war.

The day after (May 5th) is liberation day, by the way, as that's the date we were liberated from the Germans.

May 4th is also Jedi day....

In the uk we have rememberance sunday, to remember all the armed forces who have died since WW1, and on the 11th of the 11th we have a two minutes silence

So we talking Quarian holidays? I would think they would have some kind of remembrance, though generally speaking most countries don't celebrate wars they lost. But losing your homeworld is something different.

I think they may have more positive ones too. Like for instance the founding of the Pilgrimage concept. I wonder who the first Pilgrim was?

They probably still celebrate old ones too, from their days on Rannoch. I expect the meaning of a lot of those older celebrations has been lost or simply changed to reflect their new culture.

Completely agree and I Think the first pilgrim would be celebrated. It's such a huge part of their culture I can't see any way they don't celebrate it. God, I sooooooo wish we could get a tali exclusive comic series that sheds light on all this stuff.

Officially? Seems unlikely. But we could always make our own. There are enough artists and fan fic writers around, it'd just take some epic collaboration.

I heard the next Mass Effect book they were releasing will be focused on Tali.  It'll be interesting to see.
