I mean, think about it. If you look at the crew quarters on the crew deck and count the number of people aboard the Normandy that would mean a lot of people dont get beds lol.

Hot bunking: one person sleeps, then when they wake up another takes over the bed. It's mentioned in the codex that this is the norm on smaller ships.

There's also those sleeper pods at the front of the crew deck (near the gunnery control room).

It's common on many modern day military ships too; especially submarines, because they have very limited space. And yes, it would suck (glad I'm not in the military).

 Good idea hopefully you get a response.  I was aware of what Dilandau mentioned but figured that probably can't apply to a quarian.  It just seems that she'd required her own personal sterile evironment.
