It was more an answer to the question of why there aren't enough beds for the entire crew rather than where Tali specifically slept. I guess she could sleep anywhere, but she'd need a sterile room for repairs etc. I doubt she has personal quarters though, as it appears the only such rooms are Shepard's and Miranda's/Liara's.
