i'm guessing that quarians have a undersuit for basic needs and protection. On top of that they put the right armour, equipment or decorative clothing needed for the moment.IndigoWolfe wrote...
Does Tali really need a new suit?
Take into account that getting a new suit is a big deal for a quarian, and is probably something they don't very often.
So on board she dresses in those rather stylish spiral pattern clothes and in combat she wears the more tough gal style light armour perhaps? She should keep the hood even in battle though, it's part of her style. Tali without hood is like Garrus without visor.

Probably because many people feel that circuits are about the best thing they can think of to show bio-implants. Which is pretty wrong, I believe, because implants are usually done below the skin. They`re not supposed to interact with on a physical base.jreezy wrote...
Why does every human looking Tali picture always have that circuitry on her face?
If I`m not mistaken, most races (including humanity) have implants if only to understand each other. I think I`ve read somewhere (codex?) that they all have an implant with a universal translator in order to communicate with the other species. I mean, let`s not assume that all aliens peak English, shall we? :innocent:
Nevertheless, we don`t exactly see any of those translators on any species.
If we`re talking about other technical implants in order to interact with her suit, I think there will be a few connection points, but honestly ... with all the wireless stuff we have in the 21st century, don`t you think that the Quarians would have found a way to communicate with the stuff in their suits to be a little more advanced than it physically rigged to each and every nerve and muscle? There could just as well be a single point of entry (sort of a 'plug') which is the base connection between the Quarian in the suit and the suit itself. No need to hardwire them throughout the entire suit, imho.

whether the other spices have implant's or not does not really matter in this disscusstion, this discussian is all about what is it to be a Quarian
and most of the time we see them as very Tech savey, so it is just fitting and complements that thinking, that Quarians have a little tech on their face, Body, or what not.
and with your Wi-Fi thing, a EMP can easly disrupt Wi-Fi, and we have no clue if things have even gotten an all-frequncy EMP protection in this time period, and even if it has some, a quick frequnace change can work horrors, and Wi-Fi is extramly suscptable compaired to hardwiring

I played as FemShep and went after Thane. But once I did LotSB, I went to the information on Tali and found, in addition to all the other info, that she had downloaded/read some manuals on human mating and courtship.
I understand it if one is playing as a male shep and was pursuing Tali, but who was she thinking of? Certainly not Jacob or Miranda or Jack... they're CERBERUS! What other human on the Normandy has she been watching? Hopefully not Kelly...
To my surprise I even got pretty far into the "romantic" dialogue with Tali, with her saying, "Except... well, no Quarians. Uh, you know what I mean." To be fair, after that she clarifies it by stating that if Fem Shep were a Quarian and that they didn't have a suicide mission to go on, she would be honored to link suits with her -much like Tali's mother did with Shala'Raan.
But still, the fact of the human courtship/mating manuals being in her files from the Shadow Broker... just an oversight? Or maybe something more- Tali as a female love interest in ME3?
Thoughts? If this was answered somewhere else, I apologize- I couldn't find it.

I don't recall seeing that on my last FemShep playthrough, but that doesn't mean anything. My guess is that it's a mistake, that it's supposed to be keyed to show up if you're romancing her, similar to Thane's letter.
Tali likes like that Shepard regardless if you pursue a relationship with her or not. I've checked the dossier on several Shepards including females and it's still the same.
My guess is that it's either an oversight or a tease for biShepual Tali in ME3 (similar to how the lung transplant thing for Thane teases a cure in ME3)...while I don't necessarily mind, I don't necessarily think it will happen.

I dunno..........
i think tali finds the idea of galavanting across the universe romantic. wether its maleshep or femshep. and a human as her knight in shining combat armor made humans as a possible dating partner as alluring.

according to ash sroka, tali's voice actress, tali is going through a sexual evolution or something. i still think tali is bi-curious but bi at best.

Remember this old video? The quarians start at 2:54 with Shoreh playing as admiral Raan, followed by Tali, then reeger, and then near the end we get to see admiral han gerrel, who sounds less manly in person. xD
The voice acting budget must have been huge.
