with all due respect - Samara was the least intresting character in ME2 - her story and even more her dialogs were totaly below the good leavel of acting in ME2.

But back to Tali - I usualy take Tali and Mirranda to the final Reaper fight. Tali becouse she is my beloved tresure i dont want to send away for a minute from my side, adn Miranda becouse she is after all some sort of supervisor for this mission, and since I agrreded to help TIM, It would feel awkward to exclude his entrusted executive from main action.

Plus i realy like Mirandas non-romance attitude - she is profesional strikt and knows what needs to be done. And she balances Tali's drawbacks with her Biotics

But sometimes I failed to catch Tali (i mean i caught Miranda instead, not that I didnt grasp Talis hand and allow her to fall ^^) I tried to fix that with reloading the save so that Tali iconn would be on right side of HUD but didnt worked for me ...

I like Samara btw, she is one of the few asari who actually show strength, independance and power.

As for Tali, combat drone is brilliant on the end mission. The amount of times that Chikitta (or however you spell it) has saved me from Harbinger.

Lately I've been taking Miranda and Thane with me, and taking Reave as my bonus power, so all three squad members have a power than hits instantly and damages health/armor/barriers. It's pretty brutal.

If I'm romancing Tali, I typically take her and Miranda. I like taking Miranda because the confrontation with TIM forces her to take a side. It's just an extra little f*ck you to TIM from me.

haha, I wouldn't have minded a Tali / Miranda team all the way up to Suicide Mission (100% survival ftw!)...but damn she (Miranda [duh]) has fugly front teeth.

HA! The thing that was always offputting for me about Miranda (aside from being a heinous b*tch until I save her sister's life) isn't her teeth, it's her hands. For some reason, her hands/fingers bug the hell out of me. Maybe that's why I can't bring myself to romance her. I (obviously) romance Tali. I've romanced Jack (I'm loathe to admit it, but I think Jack has the best executed romance arc in ME2). I've even started playthroughs fully intending to romance Miranda. I get right up to the point of initiating the romance, and then I say "eff that noise, I'm romancing Tali."

anyway at least for my Canon Daniel Sheparh Tali is present in like 80 % of all missions and in all the importand once.

On contrary to most Talimancers I seldom use Tali and Garrus together (its great to have them on Citadel though ^^ (... eh thouse elevator talks )

i like Garrus all right - he is just not  a key character to the series for me. Tali is my beloved Lady so she is instrumental to the whole story for me as my Shepard keeps fighting for her, and Garrus is just an old friend, one of the best but still. If he died my Shepard would mourn but carry on his normal fighting with Reapers , but should Tali die He would probably run Berserkr and challenge Harbinger right away one on one if need be.

Plus since one slot is usualy ocupied by Tali I have to wisely select companions for all difrent missions to get them all play some part in the story. Too bad in ME yuo cant have 3 sqadies with you Dragon Age style. Woudl be a bit nore crowded but I would not kind that.

Evryone likes diffrent things.

But I cant see any decent reason why would my Shepard fall for Jack no mather how good this romance writing might me (it is good but not the best my opinion).
I mean she isnt very atractive phisicly, she dosent allow anyone get near her and dont show a single kind feeling for anygody until the moment you actualy romanced her. Oh, don't get me wrong, I prefer Tali to Jack. There's no question there. I just think that the romance arc for Jack is done extraordinarily well. I like the idea that Shepard is intrigued by her, and keeps trying to help her and learn about her, and eventually that turns into something more, for both of them. I like that (to me) they're both a little surprised that they have feelings for each other.

getting all of the defence upgrades(including the geath sheilds usally saves everyone), i still don't know how you would lose any of the charaters in the final battle, if you got all the upgrades

i only lost one charter and thay was because of the bad chioce, Garrus on my first play through was the tech expert( bad choice)

Samara is awsome, cause of the whole, Super powerful, but very humble, Samuri like pesonallity
and i like to keep the balace of Full Tech, Biotics, and combat

most of my chacters are soilders, so i when with the Balance of Tali and Laria in ME1, and Laria got replaced with Samara in ME2 (but it was not the same

Miranda, is just has too snooty of a personality, her perects just says "hay, i'm better than all of you"- i don't like that kind of aorra or personality

I lost Legion and Grunt in my first playthrough, and haven't lost anyone since.

I've always described Miranda (post-loyalty mission) as someone I'd be friends with, but not date, both in the real world and in game.

Oddly enough she died on me in second playthrough, holding the line. Very unexpected, but not unwelcome.

Only injures suffered was the paint job on the Normandy SR-2....those Collector scorches are never gonna buff out <_<

Same....except on certain playthroughs where I consigned certain squadmates to death. Deliberately.

The Collectors did the Normandy a favor by scraping off some of the Cerberus paint.

Tali would approve.

Legion died because I lost Miranda's loyalty by siding with Jack. Grunt died because I made the apparantly ridiculous assumption that an amalgam of the greatest krogan warlords would be a good combat leader.

Like I said, given the choice, I'll go with Tali over Jack any day. I've had enough crazy girlfriends in my life, I don't need one in a videogame (sadly, Jack wouldn't be too out of place being listed as one of my exes). I actually think Jack needs Shepard to be a friend more than a lover.

I think either works for Jack, she simply can use a relationship, where she sees the other person isn't simply out to take advantage of her.
