I dislike both jack and miranda romances actually, it feels like you have to "fix" them because they are too ****y to work their problems out themselves (jack is more justified on it but I still dislike it).

One of the main reasons I like the tali romance is that even if she acts in a really shy and kinda immature way at the beginning, she stills seems to deal with her problems by herself without being a problem for other people and also that she actually accepts the posibility of shepard simply needing someone else.
It kinda pisses me off when fanfics show her acting all whiny if shep rejects her, since again shes the most accepting about shep wanting someone else even if she still has feelings for him, it doesnt feels like she would act all vengative because he said no.

I can't argue with you re: Miranda, Jog. I've never romanced her, but I've seen all the cutscenes, and I agree. So much of it seems like dealing with her BS and reassuring her that being a normal human being isn't the end of the world. With Jack, like I said, I think it's really interesting that, to me at least, Shepard is as surprised as Jack that they're developing feelings for each other.

But there's no comparing either to Tali. I still don't like the way Bioware executed the romance, but as a character she's far and away the most adult female LI. She clearly has the same mindset that I do, and my Shepard does (and I think most people project this onto their Shepards), that her problems are hers. She's not looking for outside validation.

I didn't notice any surprise on the part of Shepard in the Jack romance. Shepard was definitely in control.

They could have, at least given unique suits to the admiralty board as well. xcept tali, all quarians suits are the exact same.... with a small variation in color..
But whatever, it's only a minor detail.

you know, i know this isnt the Jack thread but i gotta say, thats probably the most thoughtful thing ive ever read regarding Jack.

i remember that puppydog whimper she gave me when i told her i wasnt interested. wonder what this means now that my shepdawg's li is tali vas shotgun.

I still have to find a playthrough where I romance another character. So far I always end up with Tali because I`m bad at roleplaying against my nature. And out of all characters, Tali`s pretty much the only one I would feel attracted to as a personality. It`s hard for me to romance a person or character that`s not someone I feel comfortable about.

I don't think I've ever not taken Tali on a mission, let alone not romanced her.  That will probably change now that I'm on my insanity playthrough though (although I wouldn't be surprised if she still ends up going on all the missions)

It's been a while since I romanced Jack, I only did it once. It's just the impression I got, that it starts out with Shepard simply trying to understand Jack, and then becomes something more. I'm admittedly filling in the blanks myself, but the scenes make a kind of odd leap (if I remember) from "ask Jack questions" to "we're in love." Also, sorry to keep talking about Jack in the Tali thread, but this is an interesting conversation.

@Alexis- That bugged me too. I mean, I get why they chose to do that, and in my mind I sort of transplant unique suits onto all the quarians, but it's kind of odd that they didn't take the time to at least uniquely model the admirals.

@Hellbound- The descriptions of the snips you made in my quote are hilarious. You win the internet for tonight.

Tali and Garrus makes great snark buddies I think. I hope there are many sarcastic verbal duels between them in ME3. Especialy as I will probably play a lot of team dextro as usual.

I can only romance Tali in ONE play through, my canon Shep. I make other Sheps to explore other LI's but I feel like 'mancing Tali on another Shep wouldn't be right. Like I'm making her cheat on MY Shepard. I can't even make another Shep that cheated on Ashley for her. I only have my ONE Talimance and that's it. And I have a romance with EVERY other LI, including every other possible combination....except Tali. I can only have one faithful Tali file.

Agreed. For some reason I always think like all my Shep live in the same universe and that somehow Tali, with my Alternate Shep, is the same Tali that my main one romanced.

I treat my Sheps (2 of them) like alternate universes, not unlike the multiverse theory. In one universe, my 1st Shep canonically breaks up with Liara to be with Tali, and in universe 2, the same Shepard remains faithful to Liara. Any future Shepards I make will be treated like "what ifs?" and therefore non-canon in my ME experience.

Really Tali is the perfect romance choice this both characters have great chemistry. And the mystery behind the mask ups fan points. But the problem with if they reveal her face is that literally everyone pictures her different and have different opinions on how she should look. If (and i hope they do) reveal her face i hope its like the calisto-lynn portrait or along those lines.

How did they get the Hands right, i mean i can do the 3 fingerd alian thing real well, but those are really good, they look like one finger and not just 2 put together

it almost looks Photoshoped, but i can tell its not

It looks like the material used for the hands is thick and a little tight. Thats the first thing i noticed.
