Partly because the romances are so linear (Tali's in particular) that romancing them with more than one Shepard seems almost pointless.

It depends on how I'm approaching the playthrough. If it's something I know I'll carry over, I'm the same way as you. But if I'm just playing around, experimenting with a new class or new build, or a new philosophical approach to the playthrough, I'll typically romance Tali. I pretty much always play as BroShep, and like I said earlier, I just cannot bring myself to romance Miranda for some reason.

Tali's maybe my favorite character in the whole series (pretty much tied with Wrex and Garrus), but I don't understand the "Tali's ass" fanart meme. Out of all the female characters, she has the flattest one of them all.

I do appreciate the work that goes into the other details, though.

Ditto. I just liked the picture when I saw it on DA. Had nothing to do with "hurr let's stare at Tali's ass hurr."

I'm the same way, myself. Tali's only for Varos Shepard. Any other Shepard trying it would seem wrong to me.
Six LI's in game, Six classes? I can play through six times with a different LI every time, so it'd work out pretty well. And if I play through again, I could just choose to be faithful to a ME1 romance or just re-romance someone. But Tali? There can only be one.

Exactly. Almost all of the romances have the same lines and responses each time. I would love it if Tali had multiple paths that her romance could go in ME3. If they did an epilogue, then that would solve that one!
