I don't know, I don't visit this thread for a few days and when I do there's posts about electricity, explosives, torture and someone trying to barge in on Tali's man. What's happened here?

Yeah... Let's just say it's in everyone's best interest to ignore merril unless y'know you have to have her as a companion or something to help take down a tyranny and stop the fight between mages and the circle.
Even then, she's not cool. Not cool at all. She was the one companion I actually wanted to hate my lady hawke.

I actually don't know any DA, and I heard DA2 has a bad ending, so I'm really not that interested, either. Also, Tali has ruined me for game love interests all over...

Ahh. Well when and if I ever play DA2 I will form an opinion (and given people keep saying how disappointing it is and BW is annoying me, it may never happen). Until then this is all just going to be the written form of white noise to me.

I'm similar. I don't normally play RPGs, and the only reason I was convinced to give ME a try is because I heard so many good things about it as a work of sci-fi.

For me to become interested in DA it would either have to become sci-fi or a different type of game (preferably a traditional point-and-click adventure).

Oh, I do play RPGs, I just normally don't play english ones. Mass Effect was so recommended I started to catch up a couple of months after ME2 came out. Sci-Fi-RPGs I haven't even tried before it.

i always took all the what could be considered "mean" conversation options with her as i thought she was completely ridiculous in what she wanted to do/couldn't see how dangerous it all was. "Blood magic is 100% ok!" lol, i also didn't hate "her" though

^Indeed! Reminds me of a theory I have about the stages of development in technology. Stage 1 is invention. Stage 2 is figuring out how to use it for something sexual. Stage 3 is figuring out how to use it to rip people off. Humanity is a very silly species really.

I was just teasing you Terror, I know your more sophisticated then that. Though you do like to disturb people! If I could romance Tali with a femshep then I may actually play a femshep in the game. Not that I see Tali actually swinging that way. Having said that, in a sci-fi sense cross species relationships is likely far more unusual then simple old bisexuality. That is assuming that all chracters in such a universe are infact not geeks/nerds like so many of the people that play them (we tend to be more up for dating aliens, lol).

Anyway, if you did it I would probably give it a read.

I'd probably be neutral on the matter as it wouldn't bother me either way, and Avengers is pretty good then? was thinking of seeing it in a couple days, heard the Hulk is good in it

Well given the Asari, I think the ME universe is as familar with bisexuality is as easy and common as breathing lol. Although given that, I think Quarians possiablely never, or very rarely "go there" given their reduced population numbers. They "wouldn't" be thinking of the future of the fleet. Although same goes for inter speices relations so.. hmm.. will be intresting to write about.

(Atleast then its a double sure fact they couldnt have kids, FemShep and Tali) lol
