When it comes to character gender, I usually play as a male, just to fit into the role-playing thing more. I'm not opposed to playing female characters though (Quarians in MP come to mind, as do a few other characters in other games).

It's a shame we didn't get to play as other characters like in ME2, I don't think there's much that the player can do if they decide to temporary take the role of Tali (Other than, say, finding Shepard or playing as her because indoctrination took its full toll on him), but it would be very interesting if they tried.

It kind of depends on the context for me I guess. If I ever played a warrior in dragon age I always played as a man... Kinda weird but I only ever play female rogues/mages.

That's what a disturbing amount of people tells me. But I believe it's the mead talking. The mead I drink. I'm actually mad.

I think they should have more games where you have to play as a female. So many games I have no choice and have to play as a man. It'd be cool to have it vice versa. Was so irritated when I played RE5 for the first time. Had to play big dumb ape/pig man Chris cause Sheva wasn't an option yet. The only ones I can really think of are like Metroid and Tomb Raider and a few of the RE games.

Im liking all these fan images an fan stories involving the lovely tali...yepper im a fellow tail lover also just throught ill pop over to say hi....

Im thinking of a story idea involving our favour quarian in a different twist of story...based after the ending of reaper war on earth....which contains the story of tali on a mission to find a cure for the quarians so they can have a furture whey they can be part of society again without having to live inside the suits....but without me going into too much detail to bore you all.....

Tali does reasearch in earths libraries unsuspecting that she finds information about a person who in earths past a person invented a special item that boosts the immune system in a desperate attempt to keep himself alive...soon Tali finds some unsuspecting artifact she finds in a ancient earth museum an when she looks at it closely she figures out that the artifact was actually the invention the book spoke of....but when our hero Tali tries to grab the item it suddenly activates "DNA recognised....transporting to creator....Hopefully you can save him"...

Tali soon finds herself in a field with green grass an what looks like to be a earth...but where no war has been touched...no notice of reaper attack anywhere....and a random person sitting down the track looking at a lake....not noticeing our quarian...

Where has she been taken to....
Who is this person the artifact asked her to save....
Will she ever be able to go back to save her race.....
Even if she could find a way...could she convince this person to sacrifice possibly leaving his family and friends and even his own life to go back with her to help in anyway the quarians...
Will this person even end up being more then friends in time with the lovely Tali...

Anyway sorry for my long post ladies an gents haha =D enjoy.

I don't get it... The quarians' immune system deficiency can't be 'cured', they have weak ones because they have lived in sterile environments for 300 years. And the rannoch arc puts them on the path to fixing that issue.
And time travel/dimentional teleportation? is silly.

heh i suspected as such....it was random throughts in my head....just needed to place my throughts as all...ah well...an besides even if it was not to cure...just to help improve their immune system just like the geth could if you make peace with them an the quarians in ME3...meh...sorry my ideas silly...

Alas, I'll be in the arms of Morpheus, hoping he has Tali over, long then.

Also, must remember Multiplayer silver is a waste if the group can't finish wave ten, for then it's just as weak as bronze in cash value.

It's only silly if you use anything but a delorean time machine.  Not sure how the quarians would view time travel...
