There were freaking DISSERTATIONS back in the days about what tali would smell like! Someone actually did a chemical analysis and theorized that quarian sweat would be an aphrodisiac to humans!

How long does a topic about her personality last? As long as it takes for everyone to realize that they did this convo yesterday, and the day before that, and before that.

There is only so much to be said, and we've said everything. Our pathetic ability to convey information to eachother is a devestating limiting factor in this regard. If we were telepathic, we could talk about her mind and personality for AEONS. We can't do that. We make due with the limited resources we have, being the (mainly) english language.

I don't mean would she like beaches convo. I mean topics about her personality, using your own imagination as a sounding board. Like the first part of the talimance, when you tell her that you REALLY like her, and she bounces up on her toes, gets really giddy and talks fast, and starts babbling. How does that make you feel, and how does it reflect on her character as a whole? How could that situation be altered in a subtle, yet effective way to create a different reaction? Things would get deep. But we can't really do that here. Even if we were using spoken language, we just can't do it. A forum is the worst possible context for such a dialogue.

Its difficult to come up with a topic that hasnt been discussed in over 2300 pages of this thread. Every once in awhile something good comes up, but mostly it starts to drift into off topic and then into Tali oversexualization. Its a topic that is easy to fall back into because of all the fanart and whatnot and its simply eye candy for a lot of people.

That depends on what exactly it is.

If it's a program that helps you 'feel' things as if you had your actual hand on them, then maybe.  That sense of touch is important when identifying objects and performing other tasks.

If it's the other thing, then probably not.  She's got Shepard, after all.  Even being around him and talking to him drastically reduces her need to use such a program.

Delicious eye candy. And I think that she used the nerve-stim, likely during the 2 year period that shep was 'dead', and certainly during his 6 month incarceration, and possibly during the early stages of the talimance.

Its pretty obvious what it does. Its implied through what Tali says, and what the other quarian girls says.
