My substitute for companion, pet or plushie is my computer next to my bed. It's not the ideal option. But it's reliable. And there.

Well, that stinks.
But I suppose not all beds have the room for those kinds of hips, or the strength for that kind of pouncing.

To be fair, they're small enough for most people not to notice.  I didn't notice until this thread pointed them out.

He's roleplaying, it's kewl.
Besides, a SPARTAN's standard heavy melee doesn't break shield/health gate unless you're using TU rules (which suck) so you should be able to outpunch them.
but the sync kill they can use if they get behind you is fearsome fast.
